Taylor Swift Finally Addresses Rumors She’s Secretly Married to Travis Kelce After She Was Referred to as ‘Taylor Kelce’

Taylor Swift‘s heart is out in the open. The “Lover” singer finally addressed rumors that she and her boyfriend Travis Kelce are married with a subtle clue.

Taylor Swift visited Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Fla. and talked with some patients who were huge Swifties. When a patient asked her why she was there in Florida, the pop singer replied, “My boyfriend is training here. So I just thought I’d come and see how you’re doing. Just drop in on you, you know what I mean?”

That particular sentence, and the keyword boyfriend, single-handedly shut down rumors that she and Travis Kelce were secretly married. The rumors started to circulate when the couple attended Travis’ cousin’s wedding, and subsequently a wedding planner posted a video with the wedding invite with “Taylor & Travis Kelce” written on it.

Travis Kelce is currently training in Boca Raton, Fla. for the NFL off-season. He’s preparing for his return to the Kansas City Chiefs and is staying at a mansion with Taylor. “Having that confidence and comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium,” Travis revealed about their relationship dynamic during football season during a Jan. 15 appearance on the Stephen A. Smith Show. “That’s the beauty of being in a very strong relationship is that you get that support to be able to come in and focus on your craft. Focus on being the best version of you.”

Though they aren’t married, Travis did spill some details about what they do on date night. “We mentioned Pretty Woman,” the Kansas City Chiefs player said in a recent episode of his New Heights podcast, “That’s been on me and Tay’s movie list for a while, I’d be down to watch that.”

However, the rumors being dispelled doesn’t mean that marriage isn’t on their mind. An insider source said to Life & Style Magazine back in April 2024, “Travis is eager to speed up their relationship timeline. He wants to marry Taylor right away and start a family as soon as she’s ready. Travis has been so broody that he’s told Taylor he’s open to having kids before a wedding!”
