Lauren Sánchez is about to walk down the aisle with one of the richest men in the world, and people still seem to be fixated on whether she’s had any plastic surgery done. The former news anchor has had quite the transformation over the years.
Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos started dating in 2018 and became engaged in 2023. “We love to be together and we love to work together. We fly together. We work out together. We’re together all the time,” Sánchez told the Wall Street Journal about their private romance. The two have been spotted together on red carpets like the Met Gala and the Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
However, Sánchez’s recent appearances have raised the eyebrows of many netizens after they saw pictures of her 20 years ago compared to now. Some people have speculated that she’s gotten so much plastic surgery that she became unrecognizable. “She’s genuinely so terrifying-looking!” a Reddit user wrote. “She was gorgeous before surgeries, so I truly don’t understand. Lauren Sánchez has not publicly confirmed or commented on getting plastic surgery. However, many doctors and plastic surgery experts have pointed out the apparent procedures that she has undergone.
During Donald Trump’s inauguration, Dr. Koppelman told the Daily Mail that she allegedly undergone a facelift and what gave it away was her ears. “It’s called the pixie deformity. It’s actually something you want to avoid in their face lifting because it doesn’t look natural, it looks weird,” the doctor said. He also said that she’s likely gotten Botox around the mouth, as well as a lesser-known procedure involving permanent lip filler rather than dissolvable injectables, most surgeons use.
Just two months before her extravagant wedding with the Amazon founder, plastic surgeons told the Daily Mail that she’s undergone even more procedures. Dr Timothy Katzen, a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, told the gossip site, ‘With the neck, it gets thinner, you can see it loses fat and sags a bit, but this doesn’t happen with other areas. So I think she had something injected into her face – either filler, fat, or cheek implants.’
“She’s not showing a lot of signs of aging, and she’s 55 years old. So I don’t think it’s just olive oil and facial creams she’s had,” plastic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie said in an Instagram clip. However, he stressed, “Although Lauren has had some plastic surgery, I don’t think she’s had plastic surgery from A to Z. But Jeff Bezos clearly likes it. So as long as they’re happy, that’s all that really matters.”
