The Real Reason Harry & Meghan Didn’t Attend Jeff Bezos’ Wedding Amid Claims They’re ‘Consumed With Jealousy’ Over His New Wife
For anyone following the British Royal family, it often seems like they’re everywhere. Perhaps that’s why people expected at least some representation at Jeff Bezos’ wedding. But not just anyone. Amid speculation about King Charles’ health and the ongoing feud between King Charles and Prince Harry, people were hoping that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would attend the wedding.
But RadarOnline is reporting the pair weren’t invited to the wedding, something that reportedly left Markle “seething.” Reportedly, Markle believes she’s more famous than some of the celebrities who were invited to the wedding, with the outlet even saying she’s jealous of Lauren Sanchez.

“Meghan is reeling after not receiving an invitation to Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding as she considers herself more famous and important than guests such as the Kardashians,” the outlet said, adding that “it shows just how much she and Harry have drifted from Hollywood’s core social scene.”
The outlet even went on to say, “her podcast is one of the most-mocked in the world now on social media and she’s failed to rebrand herself as a philanthropist,” and added that for Harry, “the shift from royal duties to a celebrity lifestyle has hit a dead end.”
The outlet had previously reported Markle was “consumed with jealousy” over Sánchez, who has “everything” Markle wanted, including the “fantasy life.” In fact, a source told Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, who writes on Substack: “Lauren is everything Meghan thought she’d become. Instead, Meghan’s peddling preserves while Lauren’s draped in diamonds on the Cannes red carpet.”
A lot of big celebrities attended the wedding, including the Kardashians, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Barack Obama. The outlet also reported that Meghan and Harry don’t have many friends left, and there’s no star power in their friend circle, which seems to be a sticking point. “She’s dialed all the big names, but no one’s picked up, and the absence of high-profile guests in the line-up is raising eyebrows.”
“There’s no Taylor Swift. No Beyoncé. Not even a Hailey Bieber. And when you’re pitching female empowerment, that’s a problem! It speaks volumes for her pulling power. She’s not happy about her lack of appeal.”
Some would say this is not a big deal, but with a second season of With Love, Meghan coming to Netflix at some point, Markle is reportedly having trouble booking big names for the show and for her podcast, as well. “Securing buzzworthy guests typically requires strong industry connections, but with Meghan’s current outreach yielding few callbacks, her ambitious vision may be suffering due to more prominent figures in the entertainment world,” the outlet said.
“She needs to be able to turn this tide and attract the star power needed to elevate her podcast into a must-listen experience.”
An invite to the Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez wedding might have helped in that regard because of the connections, but alas, it was not to be. Now we will have to wait to see who shows up in Markle’s podcast and on her show in the next season and if she was really angling for an invite or not.
