Pete Davidson’s Ex Ariana Grande Reacts to Him Becoming a Father After He Accused Her of Airing All Their ‘Dirty Laundry’
Ariana Grande is wishing the best for her ex. Pete Davidson and his new girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, just announced that they’re expecting their first child together.
A source told the Daily Mail that despite it being years since their breakup, Ariana is happy for Pete and his future. According to the source, the Wicked star “doesn’t know Elsie,” but “she believes that Pete becoming a father is the exact thing that he needs in his life and that he will be a great dad.”
The source later elaborated that Pete’s past has influenced his decision to start a family. “Everyone knows Pete’s father passed away in 9/11, and Pete will find it important to provide the best childhood possible for his child,” the source continued.
The insider also revealed that the “7 Rings” singer is also thinking about starting her own with her boyfriend Ethan Slater. They noted that she “is hoping for the same good fortune to come her way someday in the future.”
The SNL alum and the model revealed that they’re expecting in an Instagram post. They posted a photo of them embracing each other and an ultrasound. Elsie captioned the post, “welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
The announcement comes years after Pete talked about his relationship in a standup set in his Netflix special Alive From New York in 2020. He roasted Ariana about talking about their failed relationship in Vogue as an “amazing distraction.” “Could you imagine if I did that?” He continued, “My career would be over tomorrow if I spray painted myself brown and hopped on the cover of cover of Vogue magazine and just started s–ting on my ex… Can you imagine if I did that s–t?
