The Internet is always up in arms about weird theories. With two pop culture events that happened almost simultaneously, some netizens are convinced that an ongoing internet theory is true—that whenever Trisha Paytas gives birth, a celebrity dies.
Trisha Paytas announced that she gave birth to her third child, Aquaman Moses Paytas Hacmon, in her podcast on July 22, 2025. He was actually born on July 12, 2025. The news came a couple of hours before Ozzy Osbourne‘s family announced that the Black Sabbath singer had died earlier in the day. “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” Ozzy’s family said in a statement. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”
Both announcements come after a theory that stretches back to three years ago. The YouTube celebrity gave birth to her first child, Malibu, on Sept. 14, 2022. The birth came nearly a week after Queen Elizabeth died on Sept. 8, 2022. “you’re laughing. queen elizabeth is about to be reincarnated as trisha paytas’ baby and you’re laughing,” one viral post circulated on X.

“Yesterday on the internet, I, for some reason, was trending,” Paytas addressed the rumor in a TikTok video dated on Sept. 9. “And I was so scared because I’ve been trying to stay out of drama and everything, and I realized the ultimate internet troll got trolled. And not in a good way. This was attention I did not want.”
“There was a great tragedy, it felt weird. I’m a millennial so I felt weird that people were meme-ing this death,” Paytas said, “I didn’t want to make it about me. I’m so sorry to the royal family that my name was even trending under the Queen’s, I was just so embarrassed.”
In February 2024, Paytas joked about her eldest on her Just Trish podcast, “Sometimes — and I’m not even being funny — but sometimes I’m like, she does give me Queen Elizabeth vibes. She really does!”
Some people spread the rumor that Paytas’ second baby, Elvis, was the reincarnation of Pope Francis after the Pontifex died in April 2025. However, the podcast host gave birth to her second child in May 2024, a year before he died. However, Paytas’ baby announcement lined up when King Charles announced he was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer.
“I get the timing is crazy, I get it,” she said. “I get the meme of it all. I was able to lean into the Queen Elizabeth one a little bit, but, like, it also terrifies me that people believe in something enough that it’s real.”
In the end, a theory is a theory, but the internet will always poke fun at whatever’s trending, especially if all the dots are connecting. “I just don’t get it,” the influencer said per Newsweek. “Is it just any influential person that dies get to come reincarnated as my baby? … I don’t understand why my womb is carrying all of these souls.”
