Every girl group has its drama, and Sweet Seduction had a lot of it on Building the Band. The members of the three-piece group weren’t on the same page for the longest time, but how is their relationship now?
Sweet Seduction was one of the six groups that were formed from the booths. The group consisted of Alison, Elise, and Haley, and things have been rocky on the show with them, especially with communication. “In the past, I’ve stayed quiet to avoid conflict, but I stepped out of my comfort zone,” Haley said. “I’ve learned the loudest person in the room isn’t always the strongest. Real leadership is not about dominating, it’s about how you treat people.”

With that and Alison’s brief relationship with Conor, the group didn’t seem to thrive and were eliminated in episode eight. But what happened to them afterwards?
Sweet Seduction is not together, and they have no plans to reunite. “We never talked about staying in a band,” Haley told Tudum. “We all had different paths so we moved forward individually.”
Shortly after the finale of Building the Band aired, Elise took to TikTok to talk about her experiences in the show. “It was a really, really hard thing to do and a really hard situation to be in, so I have a hard time watching again and getting all of that trauma spat back in my face,” she said. “I have had to do a lot of self work to come to a point where I’m not just bleeding anger everywhere. I’ve decided to walk away with peace and kindness and embracing what I learned from them.”
She also talked about her relationship to her bandmates now. “Haley is such a positive little cupcake girl,” she said. “She taught me how to be gentle and [have] grace and how to have positive outlooks. She is such a light for that.”
However, she revealed she’s no longer in contact with Alison. “Even though the treatment was not ideal, I wish her the best, she said. We will never be friends, we will never work together again. She did teach me how to embrace my sensual, seductive side, which is a side that for most of my life has been very shunned and has been very put down.
“I’m really grateful for that because she is very in touch with that part of herself and she taught me how to be confident in that part of myself and to embrace it.”
Alison, however, doesn’t seem like she’s closing the door on Sweet Seduction. “I would be interested in performing with them,” Alison told TUdum. “We could work together, we could not. Who knows?”
