Love Island USA‘s JaNa Is ‘Leaning’ on Her PPG Squad As Rumors That Kenny Cheated Continue to Circulate
One Love Island USA couple has called it quits. JaNa and Kenny from Season 6 of the Peacock TV show have reportedly broken up, according to TMZ.
JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez first coupled up at the seventh recoupling at the start of week 3 of Love Island USA. They split at the eighth recoupling at the end of the week after Kenny recoupled with Catherine, a bombshell from Casa Amor, which left JaNa single. After working things out in the main villa, JaNa and Kenny got back together and recoupled at the next recoupling and stayed together until the Love Island USA Season 6 finale, where they were announced as the third place finalists.
Rumors of a split emerged when JaNa removed Kenny from her Instagram profile, and all of PPG (which includes Leah Kateb and Serena Page) unfollowed him.
Why Did Kenny & JaNa break up?
While the exact reason why Kenny and JaNa broke up hasn’t been revealed, TMZ reported that JaNa who ultimately made the decision to split. However, the site did say that “JaNa’s been leaning on her close girlfriends all day to help her get through her heartbreak.”
Lots of TikTokers are speculating that Kenny cheated on JaNa. Just hours before they unfollowed each other, JaNa and Kenny were posting videos of each other on the way to David Dobrik’s birthday party. One X user posted a viral tweet reading, “Last night my friend was at the same party as Jana and Kenny and said they had a HUGE fight infront of everyone and Jana was screaming at him about cheating ALLEGEDLY. They think Kenny’s side piece was there and told Jana everything because she snapped out of nowhere.” However, many TikTokers thought that the tweet was unsubstantiated.
Before the premiere of Love Island: Beyond the Villa, which chronicles their lives after the show, JaNa and Kenny revealed that they were still long distance. “Since leaving the villa, it’s a big jump moving in together with someone, and I didn’t want it to be televised, especially the first time,” Kenny told Variety. “So we rented rooms next to each other. Another aspect for me is privacy. When JaNa gets ready for events, she has a huge glam team. Usually, there’s somebody in there for wardrobe, and sometimes I don’t have the space to change and things like that. Granted, we were always together on the show. It was great to experience L.A. and to be with her in the same city.”
That also means that they won’t be celebrating their one-year anniversary in August. “There’s a trip planned,” Kenny told Us Weekly, while JaNa added, “I asked him if we could go to Italy for our one-year, so…”
