The Real Reason Zendaya & Tom Holland’s Wedding Was Suddenly Put on Hold
Ever since Tom Holland and Zendaya got engaged, people have been waiting and hoping for any glimpse at their wedding preparations. They are, after all, one of Hollywood’s golden couples—from costars and friends to a romance that has lasted years, and now an engagement. The entire internet, it seems, is rooting for them and hoping they have a day to remember.
But it seems like that day might be farther away than we think. Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, confirmed the news on the red carpet at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards in Los Angeles. “The process hasn’t even started yet,” he told E! News. “Zendaya is working on so many movies. She’s now filming the next iteration of Dune, so she’s away doing that. It’s so many movies, so we have time. We have a lot of time.”

He’d previously told E!’s The Rundown host Erin Lim Rhodes in April, “I’m resting up for 2026,” implying that’s when wedding planning would kick off in earnest.
Not that, when she chooses, Law will be giving any hints. In fact, Law teased Zendaya would be “a secret bride” on her wedding day. This tracks with a couple that have mostly kept their relationship private, despite so much of it developing during the course of filming the Spiderman trilogy, in which the two starred in.
“I’m really excited because I know that they really love each other and they have for a really long time,” Zendaya’s stylist also shared. “The fact that the world has been able to share in that love story, I think it’s really beautiful.”
The star’s stylist also spoke about the upcoming movie The Odyssey, which brings Tom Holland and Zendaya back together in a non-Spiderman movie.
“Two people I really care about—actually three people I really care about a lot—are in that film,” he shared. “Zendaya, of course, Tom Holland, and also Anne Hathaway, who I worked with previously. I’m really excited to see my close family and my extended family all in this wonderful movie, And Christopher Nolan, we all know that he’s the director everyone’s dying to work with. So, I think it’s going to be really good.”
Law isn’t the only one excited for the couple. Holland’s dad shared some of his thoughts about his son’s proposal planning in a January Patreon post. “He had purchased a ring,” Dominic Holland. “He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…”
Considering that and what Law Roach had to say, it seems like when we do get this wedding, it will be very well thought out and planned. However, it might also be the kind of wedding we know nothing about until it happens—or even after. Considering the world only learned Tom Holland and Zendaya were even dating by mistake, that almost feels like a full-circle moment for their relationship.
