The marriage between Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, better known as Fergie, has been over for a while. And yet the former couple, who still live together and seem to get along pretty well, have had their ups and downs. The worst of it, of course, came around the time of their divorce when rumors indicated there was cheating from both sides.

But who cheated on whom and when? Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York provides details, claiming that Prince Andrew slept with “more than a dozen women” in the first year of his marriage to Sarah Ferguson. The book also reported that Ferguson quickly realized she was destined to be a “shore widow” and that it “really hurt,” claiming it was the reason she soon had affairs of her own.

At the time, Prince Andrew was reportedly away at sea about 250 days a year and spent very little time with his family, including Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. He and Sarah Ferguson separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996.

The book also details vicious arguments between the couple that “bordered on domestic violence,” and the fact that Prince Andrew’s habits remained those of a single man. “Andrew’s idea of a good time on a beautiful sunny day was to sit in the house and watch golf on the television. His dinner would be placed in front of him so he could continue watching TV, and then he would go to bed,” the book explains.

Allegedly, when Fergie tried to broach her issues with Queen Elizabeth, “The talk was quickly deflected to dogs and horses.”

The book also details how Prince Andrew was “rudderless” after he left the Royal Navy in 2001 and leaned on Ghislaine Maxwell to help him reinvent himself. “[Andrew] appeared to be rediscovering his youth, hooked by the wealth and reach of new friends,” the book says “This lifestyle could be traced back to his closer relationship with Ghislaine,” the book continues. “She introduced him to many of the women with whom he had brief flings, but she also drew him further into Epstein’s net.”

Prince Andrew’s continued connection to the Epstein scandal, which doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon, has kept him out of the spotlight for the last years. And that doesn’t seem like it’s going to change anytime soon. Especially if the heir to the throne has anything to say about it.

“Prince William has long had a strained and distant relationship with Andrew,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital, explaining he holds “a grudge against his disgraced uncle.”

“Andrew’s future within the royal family is beyond bleak, since Prince William is firmly opposed to any public rehabilitation with no foreseeable path back,” Fordwich claimed. “He wants Andrew to vanish from public view.”

This new book will likely not help Prince Andrew—or Sarah Ferguson—get back on anyone’s good graces. Even if most of the revelations on it are things that happened a long time ago, it’s hard to argue they don’t tarnish his image even further, and in extension, that of the British royal family. And if there’s something the British royal family values, it’s their reputation.
