New claims about Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson‘s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein has been unearthed from a new biography about the Duke of York. Andrew Lownie’s new book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York , details not only Andrew’s ties to the convicted sex-offender, but Ferguson’s as well.
In a conversation with Tina Brown, the author claimed that Ferguson stayed in contact with Jeffrey Epstein for five years after they said they cut ties. “Fergie was staying at [Epstein’s older brother] Mark Epstein’s flats around the corner until 2015,” Lownie said. “What we’ve got to remember is that Sarah had 18 numbers in the Black Book. Andrew only had 16.” Lownie also claimed Epstein gave Fergie as much as $2 million, far more than the reported $15K. Ferguson told The Telegraph that she “deeply regrets” accepting the money from Epstein.
The book by Lownie also details vicious arguments between the Duke and Duchess of York that the author says “bordered on domestic violence,” and describes Andrew as someone who wasn’t interested in family life. “Andrew’s idea of a good time on a beautiful sunny day was to sit in the house and watch golf on the television. His dinner would be placed in front of him so he could continue watching TV, and then he would go to bed,” the book recounts.
The biography also includes revelations that Andrew slept with “more than a dozen women” in the first year of their marriage, and that Ferguson quickly realized she was destined to be a “shore widow” and it “really hurt.” This is reportedly the reason she soon began having affairs of their own, and their marriage was soon doomed.
The publication comes amid the claims that Prince William will strip Andrew of his titles once he comes king. The Telegraph recently reported that William understands “something still needs to be done” with Prince Andrew, and has a plan in place to do so. He is set to ban his uncle from his coronation, remove his Order of the Garter, and strip him of his “Prince” title.
