Barron Trump’s Unexpected Dating Details Revealed After the President Responded to Rumors He Has a Secret Girlfriend
The US doesn’t have a royal family, but the interest surrounding politicians’ families sometimes resembles the interest over royalty in places like the UK. That’s been true of President Obama’s family, of President Biden, and now of President Trump. And though Trump’s oldest kids have been in the spotlight for most of their lives, his youngest son, Barron, is just now experiencing the amount of scrutiny this entails.
And some of that involves people interested in who he’s dating. But according to People, Barron, who is expected to begin his sophomore year at New York University’s Stern School of Business soon, is focused on business, even at such a young age. “Barron has been actively working on his own financial interests and has spent time with others who he is involved with in that area,” the source said about the President’s youngest son.

“Still, he has spent a great deal of time with his family,” they added, to ward off people’s speculation as Barron hasn’t been since with his family in public since his father’s inauguration. The youngest of the president’s sons has been at college, while his father and mother have been in Washington, D.C. Also, if there’s an age you don’t really want to be seen with your parents all that much, Barron is right there.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t more going on for Barron. Months ago, rumors surfaced about an anonymous “friend” on the NYU campus, with NewsNation reporting that he “has a really nice girlfriend and hangs out with her a lot.” That report wasn’t confirmed by any other outlets at the time, but it was the first suggestion of a romantic relationship for Barron.
The last time we’d heard anyone talk about his love life was when his father was on the Patrick Bet-David podcast. “I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet,” he said then, but Barron Trump had just started his time at NYU. Things can change a lot in a year.
However, according to People’s sources, “I don’t think that’s a big deal in his life right now.” And there’s the fact that, even if he were, we might just not hear about it.
“He has more school, a family who dotes on him and a career of his own he is launching,” the source said. Indeed, shortly after his father took office for a second time, Newsweek reported that Barron Trump was looking to start his own real estate company.
A source told People at the time that he “wants to follow in his dad’s footsteps,” though at the time that was more a hope than a plan. “He is interested in business in general, developing properties, making money and being involved in successful projects,” the source said. “He has his own ideas and understands what people of his age are looking for. He is quite entrepreneurial, bright and not shy about getting his own career in gear.”
So, no girlfriend for now. But a lot of business plans going forward.
