Camilla Accused of Going on a ‘Billionaire’s Boat’ as ‘Dying’ Charles Doesn’t Know ‘How Much Time’ He Has Left Amid His Final Days

Queen Camilla is being accused of leaving King Charles to go on a lavish vacation amid the monarch’s progressing cancer battle.
In early August 2025, Charles traveled from his home in Clarence House to his vacation residence in Balmoral Castle for his annual summer vacation. One member of the British royal family who was noticeably missing, however, was his wife, Camilla. While Charles was Balmoral Castle, Camilla was on a solo vacation aboard the $40 million superyacht Zenobia in the Mediterranean off the coast of Greece. The Mirror was the first to publish photos of Camilla on the yacht trip, which also included her daughter, Laura Lopes, and her grandchildren. The yacht’s owner is Wafic Said, a Syrian-Saudi billionaire and philanthropist.

“Camilla wasn’t frolicking in the sea with some young man,” an insider told Radar Online in a report published on September 19. “But it still wasn’t a good look for her.”
The insider continued, “Charles has been very vocal about tightening the royal purse strings, yet Camilla takes off on some lavish getaway on a billionaire’s boat. It was poor timing – and perhaps poor taste.”
According to Radar Online, one British royal family member who was especially annoyed at Camilla’s trip was Charles’ own sister, Princess Anne. However, Camilla wasn’t the only royal not to go to Balmoral with Charles. His son and daughter-in-law, Prince William and Kate Middleton, also weren’t there. “The only reason William and Kate didn’t join Charles at Balmoral is because they’re about to move into their new ‘forever home,’ Forest Lodge,” the insider said. “They have a lot on their plate right now. Charles probably would have liked to have Camilla by his side – now more than ever – but she apparently had better things to do.”
The source continued, “The damage has been done. The sad thing is Charles would have liked her to join him at Balmoral for the whole of the August break.”
Charles announced he was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in February 2024. Though he hasn’t given many updates to his health since then, reports claim that his disease was found “incurable.”
“Who knows how much time Charles has left, and she takes a high-profile vacation without him? Queen Elizabeth – who never particularly cared for Camilla – must be rolling over in her grave,” Radar Online’s source said, adding that the Charles is “dying.”
