Cardi B is putting in her two cents in Stefon Digg’s paternity drama. The Grammy winning rapper gave her candid thoughts on an Instagram live.
“Hello Barbara, this is Shirley!” Cardi said while she was sprinkling food in her livee. The lyrics refer to Shirley Brown’s 1974 R&B song “Woman to Woman,” where the singer she reached out to another woman her man was cheating with. “That’s your baby daddy, bitch? That’s my baby daddy, too,” she said.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper announced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with the athlete on an episode of CBS Mornings on Sept. 16 before the release of her second album Am I the Drama? “I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” she told Gayle King. “I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, and me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”
Stefon responded to the pregnancy news in Cardi’s Instagram comments writing that he was “100% team boy” and proud of his girlfriend “for staying focused.”
Cardi B shares three children with her ex-husband Offset: Kulture, 7, Wave, 3, and Blossom, 1. Meanwhile, Diggs is father to Nova, 9, whose mother has not been specified. The two made their relationship official in June 2025. She also revealed why she thinks this pregnancy would be easier compared to her previous ones “My second baby, he too big — he broke me,” she said during her appearance on “The Breakfast Club.”“The first one, I had to stitch,” she continued. “Oh yeah, I ripped.”
However, with her fourth child, she seems more confident. “But that’s what I’m saying — now things are just a little different and I’m more experienced,” she continued. “Like, the third one was so easy, so I’m expecting this one to be as easy as well, in the name of the Lord. That’s why I’m like, ‘I just did it last year. I can do it [again],’”
Amid her album release, reports surfaced that Diggs was facing a paternity lawsuit for a 5-month old named Charliee. Aileen Lopera (known as Lord Gisselle on social media) filed a petition in December 2024 to determine parental relationship in the Superior Court of California in Los Angeles. According to court docs obtained by Page Six. the model requested that she be given legal and physical custody of the child and Diggs only be given visitation rights.
In July 2025, Diggs filed a response to Lopera’s paternity suit, saying in the docs that he was “not certain” that he was the father. He requested a paternity test to be conducted to determine whether he is the father. The NFL player also requested to have joint legal and joint physical custody of the child, and to split the pregnancy and birth expenses and lawyer’s fees.
