Taylor Swift‘s security is amping up after the singer was the subject of some stalking cases in recent weeks. The “Lover” artist just filed a restraining order a week after a private investigator was arrested at her fiancé Travis Kelce‘s house.
On Sept. 15, 2025, Justin Lee Fisher, a former cop-turned-private eye, was arrested at Travis Kelce’s residence in Leawood, Kansas at 2 a.m. Fisher reportedly attempted to serve Swift with deposition papers for Justin Baldoni’s legal case against Blake Lively amid the It Ends With Us drama. Two days before the incident, a judge denied Baldoni’s request for an extension.
Fisher texted Star, saying, “I’ll be happy to talk to you about it when it is resolved. [I] wasn’t hurt or anything besides being arrested for doing my job and possibly losing my [private eye] license.”

The arrest comes days before it was reported that Swift filed a restraining order against her alleged stalker, Brian Jason Wagner. According to TMZ, the 45-year-old has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the global superstar for the next 5 years. Wagner must also stay away from the singer’s LA residence, car, and place of work. He reportedly showed up at her L.A. residence on consecutive days in May, and she said he was able to change his address on his driver’s license to her house. The star also claimed he tried diverting mail from her house and sent her lengthy digital communications using threatening language.
An insider told the Daily Mail that Swift is very “concerned” about Wagner because of the “depraved lengths he has gone to to invade her privacy.” They added, “Her team has to be hyper vigilant because she has been stalked so many times and recently discovered she has been targeted by [online] groups on social media. She will change promotional plans or scale back if any threats she has received online are deemed to be serious by her security team. It’s horrible.”
When attending one of Kelce’s games, Taylor Swift was seen using a bulletproof screen. “They used the screen to keep her safe, a source told the outlet. They have used that screen before, but usually it is for the President or someone like that, not a celebrity. But this was a weird week.”
Swift has encountered several serious stalking incidents in previous years. Frank Edward Hoover threatened Swift’s father in 2015 and was sentenced to ten years of probation. David Crowe was arrested outside Swift’s home in New York in 2024 after repeated attempts to break in. Eric Swarbrick was convicted of sending threatening letters to the singer. Mohammed Jaffar and Roger Alvarado faced charges for trespassing and breaking into her multiple residences.
