Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have survived a lot in the British royal family, and though, indeed, their standing isn’t what it used to be, it’s also true that things could be worse. The two are still seen with the senior royals, and are not complete pariahs, even after big scandals and ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. But the latest email leak might change that.
RadarOnline is reporting that King Charles wants both removed from Royal Lodge following new revelations about their links to Epstein, calling this the “final straw” for the couple, who might soon find themselves homeless. This comes after emails published on the Mail on Sunday reveal Ferguson apologized to Epstein just weeks after publicly disowning him in 2011.

“The king feels deeply that Royal Lodge cannot remain a sanctuary for the Duke and Duchess of York. After everything that has come out, he wants them out. It’s not just about optics anymore – it’s about trying to preserve the integrity of the monarchy,” one insider said.
Reports about the Duchess of York’s apology to Epstein came just days after both she and Prince Andrew were seen with other members of the royal family at the funeral of the Duchess of Kent.
“The King’s patience is at an end,” another insider added. “If Sarah’s income dries up and Andrew has no means of support, their hand may finally be forced. Charles is determined that Royal Lodge will not be their refuge forever.”
Another source explained that, “The king took a risk by welcoming Sarah back into royal life, and now he feels let down. This whole episode has convinced the Palace that the Yorks can’t stay at Royal Lodge.”
The leaked email scandal has caused seven charities so far to remove Sarah Ferguson as patron or ambassador, according to the BBC. Those charities are Prevent Breast Cancer, the Teenage Cancer Trust, Children’s Hospice Julia’s House, the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, the Children’s Literacy Charity, and the British Heart Foundation. Julia’s House said, considering the circumstances, it was “inappropriate” for Ferguson to continue in the role.
And this news that King Charles is ready to evict Prince Andrew comes after reports that, if he didn’t, Prince William surely would when he was King. Recent reports had indicated that Prince William hates his uncle and would make sure he disappeared from public life once he was King. Not just that, reports indicated he wanted him and Fergie evicted from Royal Lodge, as well. “[William] also loathes Sarah, Andrew’s ex-wife, and can’t wait for the day when his father throws them both out. If Charles doesn’t, I guarantee you the first thing William does when he eventually becomes king is to get them evicted,” Andrew Lownie’s book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York , says.
That means that, either way, things are not looking good for Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, particularly in light of the new revelations about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
