Keith Urban Reportedly ‘Hasn’t Been Honest’ as Nicole Kidman Is ‘Devastated’ He’s ‘Already Moved on’—It’s ‘Turning Dramatic’
When a marriage lasts as long as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s did, and then it ends, there’s bound to be questions. What was the breaking point? Was a third party involved? And considering Kidman was the one to file for divorce, and the strange behavior from Urban, including that weird lyric change in that song he wrote for Kidman, the next question is obvious. Did Urban cheat?
According to People, the split turned “their split is turning dramatic,” in a hurry, with Kidman feeling “hurt and feels betrayed” by Urban. “Keith has not been honest,” the source continued. “She wanted to save their marriage and believed that she could, but it seems he’s already moved on.”

“It’s devastating to her. She’s shocked,” the insider added.
But is there really another woman? Reports indicate there might be. TMZ broke the news that Urban was allegedly already involved with another woman by the time news of the split broke. “All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman,” a source told the gossip site. “Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”
A source close to Kidman said, “It’s all over Nashville.” However, there is no real timeline for when the relationship started. The timeline might just be important, particularly due to reports that, despite the fact that Kidman listed the date of separation as the day of the divorce filing, she and Urban actually separated early in the summer. This means that even if the news hadn’t yet broken, and even if it is very fast, there is still a possibility that Urban just started dating someone right after he and Kidman separated. Or, he could have just cheated. We don’t know for sure.
Kidman and Urban married in 2006 and share two children, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Kidman filed for divorce on Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Nashville, where the couple has resided together since 2007. She listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
People reported from a source that the country singer has “just been going through some stuff” lately. “He has been making questionable choices for some time now, and this was not the case of them just drifting apart,” added a source close to Kidman. According to Urban’s inner circle, however, the breakup was a long time coming. “For those around him, this has felt more like a gradual drift than some big shocking break,”
There has been speculation that Kidman’s busy schedule should shoulder most of the blame, but reports indicate that she has been mostly at home with her two kids while her husband has been touring the past few months. “Nicole lives full time in Nashville. She loves the tight-knit community and group of friends that she has built, and it’s the perfect place to raise her children,” a source close to the family told People a couple of months ago, adding that the time spent with her kids had helped Kidman’s connection with her daughters.
A divorce is always hard, particularly after so many years. But Nicole Kidman’s kids are going to have their mom, and vice versa, during this really hard time.
