Melania Trump might have a bone to pick with her husband Donald Trump. The first lady is reportedly mad at the president for making an unsolicited comment about their son, Barron.
In July 2023, Donald Trump posted on social media at the time, “In an effort to level the playing field, Barron Trump will debate Joe Biden!” alongside a photo of him boxing the former president. According to RadarOnline via The Mirror, the post left Melania “deeply shaken,” by using their son as a “political pawn” and was a breach of trust that she found unforgivable.
A source told the gossip site at the time: “Melania has been incredibly protective of Barron and has told Donald she would not stand for him to be exploited by anyone, even his father!” Amid Donald Trump’s legal battles at the time, Melania Trump was extra worried.

“He made a promise to protect their son – and he broke it. There’s a good chance she won’t forgive him, and the next time we see them together may be in divorce court.”
Another told the site that Melania is “livid after he’s broken his promise of keeping their son out the spotlight.” “Despite Donald’s denials, Melania has already had to endure an indictment in New York that suggests he had an affair with a porn star while she was pregnant with Barron.”
The new revelations come after reports that the family is pretty divided. Mary Jordan who penned a biography about Melania called The Art Of Her Deal, revealed, “There’s a unit within the family unit, and it’s Melania, her mother, her father, and Barron. And they all speak Slovenian.” While Donald Trump exclusively speaks English, the habit reportedly infuriates him.
Although things behind the scenes might be tense, Barron Trump had a win in his love life. Melania Trump was recently seen pulling away from her husband when he attempted to hold her hand after they got back from the UK state visit, according to The Daily Beast. The same outlet reported that the two previously had a heated exchange on board the presidential helicopter. There were also reports that the two slept on separate beds at Windsor Castle.
