Keith Urban Reportedly ‘Hiding Secrets’ From Nicole Kidman as His Ex Is Determined to Make Him ‘Jealous’ With ‘Someone Young & Hot’ For His ‘Betrayal’
The Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban divorce has been anything but amicable. First, we heard they were separating, with no hint of the word divorce. Back then, it seemed like things might be worked out. But Kidman’s filing came soon after, and so did the rumors that Urban was the one who didn’t want to work on the marriage. Not just that, there are multiple reports that he has already moved on.
Now, Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop is reporting that the two are “only speaking through lawyers” at this point, with a source saying, “It’s icy. They’re not even texting. Everything — custody, property, money — runs through the lawyers.” To be expected, all things considered.

“They were always touchy-feely in public, but things have been off for a long time,” another source explained, with the causes for their split—as is often the case with celebrities—partly having to do with their busy careers. “They were living separate lives,” a Nashville insider said. “Love couldn’t survive the logistics.”
At this point, though, it’s not just a matter of divorcing. “They’re protecting their brands, but it’s brutal behind closed doors,” another source added. “This isn’t a break-up — it’s a corporate dissolution,” is how the split is being described.
Despite all of this, Women’s Day reported that Kidman is eager to talk to Urban face to face because she is “completely confused” as to how they ended up where they are. “She has so many questions and not enough answers and she’s seeking a face-to-face with Keith in Nashville,” an insider said. “She’s completely confused and can’t believe this person, this very special confidante, has not only gone AWOL in her life, but has been hiding secrets from her.”
Clarity or not, reports also indicate Kidman wants to move on. Particularly after Urban reportedly already has. “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a “Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”
Globe reported that Kidman plans on “hooking up with someone young and hot, herself,” particularly since reports indicate her husband has moved on with his much younger guitarist, Maggie Baugh.
“Keith is refusing to come clean about what’s really going on, but everyone is saying that there’s another woman and all the signs are pointing to it being this 25-year-old guitar player,” the source said.
“It’s completely devastating for Nicole that he would abandon her and their marriage like this, but then, when you add in this element of it being for a woman less than half her age, the knife twists deeper,” the source explained, adding that the motivation for finding someone new is “to make Keith jealous and make him regret letting her go.”
And she’s reportedly got support! “Her friends are hoping that once she actually does get with another man, it will take her mind off Keith and help her get past this betrayal,” the source added.
You know what they say, the quickest way to get over one man is to get under another one. Maybe it will work for Kidman.
