When it comes to celebrity couples, we often go from one report saying things are horrible to another one saying things are great, back again to bad. But it seems like the reporting on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle changes more than any other celebrity couple. It wasn’t that long ago that reports indicated Harry was 100% behind his wife after the controversy over the video in Paris that some people were interpreting as a dig at Diana. Then comes this.

RadarOnline.com is reporting that Harry isn’t pleased with Meghan Markle sharing an Instagram picture of their daughter, Lilibet. This is even though it’s far from the first time she does, and Markle has even shared pictures of the entire family, always making sure to cover Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s faces.

In this new post, Lilibet, who is 4, is seen running in the backyard in pink pajamas. Her face cannot be seen. Another picture shows her back as she and her mom hold hands. The photos were captioned “Go get ‘em girl!” and posted alongside an emoji of a girl running. The photos were posted for International Day of the Girl, with the message: “To all the girls – this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you. It’s your right and our responsibility.”

“Harry’s deeply uncomfortable,” a royal insider told Rob Shuter’s Shuterscoop about the matter. “He spent years fighting tabloids and paparazzi to protect his kids. Now Meghan’s the one putting them back in the spotlight.”

According to the report, “He found out almost when the rest of us did,” and “He thinks she crossed a line.” The gossip columnist also reported that for Meghan, “She sees it as celebrating her daughter and inspiring other girls.” But Harry doesn’t agree. “It’s a clash of principles,” the insider said. “She believes in visibility — he believes in protection. That tension has never really gone away.”

Rumors paint a complicated picture, but it was just a few days ago that Harry was said to be “hurt and upset” by the criticism Markle got after her Paris Fashion Week video, fully standing by his wife. In the video, Markle took a quick tour of the city, with some thinking she was too close to the place where Princess Diana died, and calling it insensitive.

The reports indicate Harry considered it “hell of a stretch” to say Markle purposefully drove close to the site. “Harry was left hurt and upset. Diana’s death was used as a stick to beat his wife with. [Meghan] did not even pass close to the tunnel,” a source told The Daily Mail. “The whole thing is a joke, but not a very funny one for Harry.”

So, whether Harry is now actually upset at Markle’s decision to feature their daughter on Instagram, we might never know. But even if he is, it doesn’t feel like a big deal in the grand scheme of all the things that have been reported about them—whether they turned out to be true or not.
