We Finally Got Our 1st Detail For Taylor Swift’s Wedding Dress to Marry Travis Kelce…
Ever since Taylor Swift announced her engagement, there has been a frenzy of questions and speculations about what the ceremony and subsequent party will look like. People have scrutinized everything Swift has said and everything Kelce has said for clues. Though the singer recently revealed in interviews that she hasn’t really started planning yet, everyone is still trying to read between the lines with her. Her fans do love their clues.

One of the biggest questions is the wedding dress. What will Swift wear? According to iconic wedding dress designer Vera Wang, the answer is probably not just one thing. While speaking to E! News at the DKMS 19th Annual Gala on Oct. 14, Wang was asked about the singer’s potential wedding dress and said, “I don’t think there’ll be just one [dress]. But that’d be my guess.”

It’s a good guess, considering many celebrities opt for multiple looks. And Wang would know, as she’s dressed several celebrities for their weddings, including Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande, Victoria Beckham, Alicia Keys, and Hailey Bieber.
Wang also seemed to sense that an engagement was coming. “I kind of had a feeling that was going to happen. I’m so happy for her,” the designer said.
Another bridal designer, Christian Siriano, had a more specific idea about what Swift would choose. “Taylor, I think, will be in lace of some sort,” he told E! News.
Swift and Kelce have been dating since mid-2023. They announced their engagement on August 26 in a joint post on Instagram, which featured a series of photos from the proposal, and the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.”
The singer, who just released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3rd, mentioned during the lead-up to it that she hasn’t had time to plan the wedding. But a source told PEOPLE that Swift is now ready to start looking at her options.
“She’s been super focused on work commitments. She’s not kidding when she says she’s exhausted. She’s ready for a break so she can focus on the wedding,” the insider told the outlet. “She’s very excited about planning the wedding.”
Another source said the two are still enjoying the engagement and haven’t really processed it. “It’s still kind of strange and exciting and new to say ‘fiancé’ when they’re talking about each other, and they both kind of laugh every time they catch themselves saying it,” the source revealed. “They’ve just been taking it all in quietly.”
“It’s been a lot of excitement all at once. They’re both just really happy. It’s been a whirlwind, but it’s the good kind. They know how lucky they are to be in this moment together.”
The moment will, of course, soon shift to details. And a wedding dress is perhaps the biggest wedding-related detail of all. One thing we know for sure about Taylor Swift is that, whatever she picks, she will end up surprising us all. Even if that ends up being multiple dresses.
