Keith Urban might have taken a dig at his marriage with Nicole Kidman in his new CBS docuseries. The country singer performed a song that’s seemingly about a breakout on the show.
In the premiere of The Road on CBS on Oct. 19, Urban performed the song “Straight Line” from his latest album High for the contestants. He explained the meaning in an Instagram post, “‘Straight Line’ is wanting to break out of a soul-sucking routine that you might be stuck in: maybe in a relationship, a job, with creativity, with yourself…whatever it is !!” While he didn’t name names, he elaborated about the real message of “feeling alive again and getting out from under that dark cloud. If you’ve seen us in concert, I hope it gives you that same feeling.”
The show’s moment comes right after Urban and a fan had a playful interaction about her name. At his last stop on his tour in Nashville, he pointed the mic to a fan ask them what their name is. “What? I’m not going to like your name? What?” when the fan responded, “It’s Nicole.” To which he jokingly laid down in a KO fashion.
Amid all the fun, some of Nicole Kidman’s friends are advising her to move on. The perfect person to turn to? Her ex-fiance Lenny Kravitz. “Nicole’s friends are telling her that the best thing she can do for herself is to start having fun again,” a source told the National Enquirer. “And Lenny seems like the perfect person to help her do that!”
“By all accounts the red-hot chemistry they had has never gone away. It just makes sense to give it another whirl,” the source said. “Who knows where it could lead? Maybe at this stage in life things could work out for them long-term.” Kidman was also married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, who is also seemingly on the market after his alleged breakup from Ana de Armas.
The Globe reported that Kidman plans on “hooking up with someone young and hot, herself,” ever since rumors floated around that Urban had already moved on. “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a “Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”
Kidman filed for divorce on Sept. 30, 2025 after news broke that they were separated. Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop, reported from a source that, “Nicole wanted to fight for them, but Keith had already checked out—and she knew why. It wasn’t about distance, schedules, or bad habits. It was about another woman. And Nicole knows who she is.”
