Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix deal expired and the two signed a new one, there have been reports about how they are feeling about it and what others might or might not have to do with the chance. The answer is fairly simple: Netflix has changed its strategy for deals like the one they had, and the two went on to sign a new deal similar to the one Former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama now have.

But that has never stopped the rumors. RadarOnline.com is reporting that Markle is “convinced” Buckingham Palace loyalists are “pulling strings” with the British media to undermine her. “Meghan is beyond furious,” a source close to the Duchess said. “She’s certain there’s an organized effort to bring her down, and she’s convinced it’s coming straight from the Palace. She’s been telling friends that the royals, particularly Kate Middleton, are using their media connections to quietly undermine her work. In her mind, none of this is happening by chance.”

Markle and Prince Harry, however, did sign a new deal with Netflix on the same new terms as most new deals.

The report also makes reference to Prince Harry, saying, “Harry’s stuck in the middle yet again,” and adding. “He’s doing his best to stay level-headed, but Meghan feels completely targeted. She’s convinced the royals are out to destroy her brand simply because they’ve lost any power to control her.”

All of this comes as Markle addressed the launch of her As ever brand and Netflix deal during a Fortune‘s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington on October 14. “My husband and I were in an overall deal with Netflix then, not dissimilar to Higher Ground and the Obamas’ deal, once that had come to its term, the extension of it — which was such an incredible sign of the strength of our partnership — was now being in a first-look deal,” Markle explained.

“Which is also exciting because it gives us flexibility to go to our partners first, then at the same time, shop content that might not be the right fit for Netflix but has a home somewhere else,” she added.

During the conversation, Markle also seemed to suggest we would not be seeing more of her lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan. Well, the holiday special is coming out in November. It’s a really good one,” she said. “So I think looking at that format — again, it’s a year of learns — so we’re able to say, ‘Eight episodes for two seasons — it’s a lot of work,” Markle explained.

All very mellow and not at all in line with RadarOnline’s reporting. “She’s seething privately, but she’s absolutely determined not to let anyone see her crack,” a source told the outlet. “She’s calling it classic bullying and refuses to play the victim. Still, behind the scenes, she’s enraged – she feels like she’s being punished just for trying to stand on her own two feet.”

Considering it’s unlikely Kate Middleton could have had any say in what happened with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix deal, or that they would ever believe she did, we can probably take these reports with a grain of salt as we continue to see how these relationships develop.
