Divorce is always complicated, but it can turn especially thorny when it comes to the division of assets. That seems to be coming true for Lori Loughlin and estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli. The pair, who are reportedly now moving towards a divorce, are worth a lot of money together and separately. But how will that money be divided?

Is there a prenup in place? What exactly does it say? Who stands to benefit the most from the divorce? Here’s what we know.

Do Lori Loughlin & Mossimo Giannulli Have a Prenup Amid Divorce?

Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli did indeed sign a prenup when they got married, according to TMZ, but that doesn’t mean the divorce is going to be straightforward. “He is still worth a lot of money and the prenup does not benefit her,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly“Lori is so nice and does not have a vindictive bone in her body.” But she is worth substantially less than her husband, so divorce proceedings might still end up complicated.

The outlet also reported that Loughlin and Giannulli have both retained legal counsel and are definitely “moving toward divorce proceedings,” even though the two called their split just a “separation” in a statement on October 2. They have been married for 27 years.

“They have been living separately for several months,” the source said.

A second source confirmed that things have been hard for the couple for a while. “People around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,” the source said. “This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. They will not reconcile, there is currently no chance, and will ultimately divorce.”

Rumors even indicate that Giannulli has started dating again. He was recently spotted with 32-year-old stylist Hannah Harrison. She, however, denied that the connection was romantic. “I feel like it was bad timing. I went to the [G/FORE Supply] store not knowing that his separation had been announced,” she said in a statement released on October 3. “I was going there to meet him. … He was introducing me to the guys there so I could pull clothes [for Giannulli’s brand G/FORE].”

Things have allegedly been so bad that the couple’s two daughters, Bella, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26, weren’t “surprised” by the breakup. “They had seen the way their parents were interacting in the last year and knew this was coming,” a third insider told the outlet. “It was not a shock to anyone in the family. This change feels more like an adjustment than a disruption. Everyone’s still adjusting, but it’s been a calm transition overall.”

The couple’s relationship has been a rollercoaster the last few years, without a doubt. Both Loughlin and Giannulli were arrested in 2018 for their alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal. They were accused of paying bribes to secure Bella and Olivia Jade’s admission into the University of Southern California. Both of them served time in federal prison.
