Meghan & Kate Just Got 1 Step Closer to Reconciling After Reports William Finally Agreed to Meet With Harry
Once Prince Harry and King Charles met again, for the first time in over a year, it felt like reconciliation for the entire family was once again a possibility. Father and son took the first step, and there are now reports that a meeting between William and Harry might happen in the near future. But what does that mean for Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton?
Reportedly, Markle is planning a “clear-the-air” meeting with Middleton as part of the push from Prince Harry to mend the fractured relationship with his family. According to RadarOnline.com, Markle hopes that taking this step will help the brothers. “Meghan has asked her people to reach out to Kate and organize a call. She hopes this will be the first step towards reconciliation,” an insider said.

Royal reporter Richard Eden even said that Markle’s recent Paris Fashion Week appearance was part of the plan to help bring her and Harry back into the royal orbit. “It’s known as ‘Project Thaw’ because the aim is to ‘warm up’ the duke and duchess’ frosty relationships with the rest of the royal family and with the British people,” he said.
Insiders claim this is all happening fast because Harry and Meghan are planning their first UK trip in a while, sooner rather than later. “By all accounts, the trip is happening; it’s just a matter of finalizing the timing, but it will most likely be before Christmas. Obviously, Meghan’s anxious about it. She knows all eyes will be on her the minute she lands,” an insider revealed.
That’s where Middleton comes on. “She’s desperate to get ahead of the narrative, and she knows getting Kate on board would massively help,” insiders claim. “If the public sees she’s making a genuine effort to heal old wounds and they see Kate accepting her back it’s bound to soften their feelings towards her.”
All of this comes after reports from RadarOnline.com that William has agreed to meet with Harry for the first time in nearly three years. Those reports indicate the decision was made after pleas from both his father and his wife, Kate Middleton.
“William’s willing to meet Harry, but only if everything happens strictly on his terms. That means no Meghan, no aides, and zero chance of it ending up as content for a documentary or book. He’s deeply wary of being secretly recorded or having his words twisted – the trust between them is completely gone. Harry will basically face being frisked before they talk,” a royal insider said.
The brothers have reportedly not been on speaking terms since the publication of Harry’s 2023 memoir, Spare. But Prince Harry has publicly spoken of his desire for reconciliation, and William reportedly also wants that. “He’s not heartless – part of him really misses how things used to be, the jokes, the closeness. But too much has happened, and he doubts they can ever truly rebuild that trust. He wants some kind of peace, but not if it means setting himself up to be hurt again,” a source close to William said.
A reconciliation between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton would certainly be a good thing for the chances of the brothers finding common ground again.
