How Zoë Kravitz Helped Exes Lenny & Nicole Kidman Reconnect Amid Reports Her Dad & Co-Star’s ‘Chemistry’ Has ‘Never Gone Away’
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s divorce has left the two going their separate ways and moving on in very different ways. Urban is reportedly already in another relationship, as he was the one who decided to end the marriage. And that means Kidman, who wanted to save her relationship with her ex, has been trying to pick up the pieces alongside her daughters. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t ready to get out there, too.
And reports are that people are encouraging her to give it another go with ex Lenny Kravitz. Kidman famously starred with Kravitz’s daughter, Zoë, on the TV miniseries Big Little Lies.

“Nicole and Lenny were genuinely in love,” an insider told Globe. “It ended up falling apart but they didn’t end on bad terms.” And there’s more. “When Nicole started working with Zoë a few years ago, she and Lenny reconnected, so they are in touch. He’s single and she’s single. It makes sense to give it another whirl, even if it’s strictly for fun. Who knows where it could lead?”
This comes after RadarOnline.com reported that Kidman was ready to enter her “revenge romance era.” Even then, the first name that popped up was indeed Kravitz’s.
“Nicole and Lenny go way back,” a friend of the actress told the outlet. “What they had was real love, and that connection between them has never really faded. People who know them both say the spark is still there.”
At the time of their engagement, back in 2003, their romance didn’t work because, according to a source, “Lenny was deep in his rock’n’roll lifestyle back then – always on the road, making music, and caught up in the scene. Nicole, on the other hand, was looking for stability and a family. They were simply at different points in their lives.”
But those things have reportedly changed. “Both Lenny and Nicole are single now, so it feels natural for them to reconnect,” a source close to Kravitz said. “He’s been open about wanting to find his soulmate – maybe this is the right moment for them to make it work.”
Everything points to Kidman’s inner circle being on the exact same page. “Nicole’s friends are telling her that the best thing she can do for herself is to start having fun again,” a source told the National Enquirer. “And Lenny seems like the perfect person to help her do that!” Plus, sources say, “By all accounts the red-hot chemistry they had has never gone away. It just makes sense to give it another whirl.”
Urban, for his part, has allegedly already moved on. “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a “Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”
All that considered, it seems like a good idea for Kidman to look for her own romance, rebound or not. Why not?
