What Nicole Kidman Really Thinks of Tom Cruise & Ana de Armas’ Split Amid Reports She’s Plotting a ‘Revenge Romance’ With a Famous Ex
Ever since Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban and Ana de Armas, and Tom Cruise broke u,p the former exes have been linked in plenty of conversations. Kidman and Cruise broke up over two decades ago, but people are still interested in what they have to say about each other. And on which side Kidman is taking in Cruise’s new split, especially.
Globe is reporting that Kidman is very much on Ana de Armas’ side, and Cruise’s other famous ex, Katie Holmes, is as well. “Ana’s had an outpouring of support from people since the split, but what’s really come as a shock to her is that both Nicole and Katie are in her corner,” an insider shared. “It’s no secret they’ve both been through the wringer with Tom, so, of course, they know exactly what she’s gone through. But she still never expected to be getting their support. She’s told friends she feels honored to even be on their radar.”

“Nicole sent word through Reese Witherspoon, who’s friendly with Ana, to let her know she’s there if she ever wants to talk,” the source added. “Katie is apparently on her side, as well. It’s actually not a huge surprise that Katie and Nicole both feel protective of Ana. No doubt they see a lot of their younger selves in her and want to help her through this tough situation.”
“Whether Ana will actually follow up and connect remains to be seen, but she’s very touched.”
All of this comes after Us Weekly reported that the breakup was “Ana’s decision,” after she reportedly became “uncomfortable” with the pace. “Things were moving fast and she started to get a little uncomfortable with how fast it was going,” a source confirmed to the outlet.
Kidman, meanwhile, is moving on and not with Cruise. RadarOnline.com recently reported that the actress is ready to enter her “revenge romance era” and that might involve former fiancé Lenny Kravitz. “Nicole and Lenny go way back,” a friend of Kidman said. “What they had was real love, and that connection between them has never really faded. People who know them both say the spark is still there.”
Kravitz’s camp agrees. “Both Lenny and Nicole are single now, so it feels natural for them to reconnect,” a source close to the singer said. “He’s been open about wanting to find his soulmate – maybe this is the right moment for them to make it work.”
And Kidman doesn’t even have to worry about looking back, as it seems her ex, Keith Urban, has already moved on. “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a “Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”
Cruise and Kidman were previously married for 11 years and announced their divorce in February 2001. At the time, the two claimed the reason was the “difficulties inherent of diverging careers which constantly keep them apart,” but multiple reports have cast doubt on that in the subsequent years. And well, Cruise’s love life since splitting from Kidman really and truly speaks for itself.
