King Charles Responds to Prince William, Kate Middleton Conspiracy Theories

It’s sometimes hard to process that Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t just British royals, but people who have a life in the UK and friends who are not tied to the positions they hold. Middleton, after all, wasn’t born a royal. And William did attend school and university, so he’s bound to have a lot of connections people don’t think about when the two are out there doing their public duties as Prince and Princess of Wales.

One of those connections has now tragically ended. Ben Duncan, a socialite, reality star, and university classmate of both Prince William and Middleton, died last week after falling from a rooftop bar in London. He reportedly fell from the roof of the Trafalgar St. James Hotel.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told People: “Officers responded to concerns for a man on the roof of a building in Cockspur Street, Westminster at 23:02 hours on Thursday, 30 October. The man sadly fell from height. Despite the best efforts from the London Ambulance Service, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene,” the spokesperson added, “His death is being treated as unexpected but non-suspicious.”

Duncan attended the University of St Andrews in Scotland at the same time as William and Kate. That’s where the couple’s romance first began. He then went on to appear in series 11 of the U.K.’s version of Big Brother and appeared on shows like Come Dine With Me, Ladette to Lady, and Celebrity Coach Tri.

He has spoken about it before. According to the Daily Mail, he gave an interview in 2010 in which he spoke about what it was like going to university at the same time as them. “Because we’d had Will and Kate in our midst we had royal protection officers swarming the place. We knew that they had hit it off and we knew that something was happening, but they were just left alone to get on with it,” he explained.

Duncan was also present at the now-famous fashion show that’s been so integral to the narrative of Kate and William. “It was the end of their first year. I was there, and in person there were a lot of attractive girls,” he said. “She was in a very daring dress, in a sheer stocking-like dress. He was sitting front row and his eyes were like stalks.”

“She brushed by him on the way to the catwalk and things were never the same again – the whole history of the monarchy had been altered,” Duncan explained.

Duncan’s tragic death comes amid new reports that King Charles is battling pancreatic cancer and feels like he doesn’t have much time left. “The palace is desperately trying to downplay the seriousness of His Majesty’s illness,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “But Charles knows it’s the end, and so do his sons. William is formally making plans for his version of the future of the monarchy – with or without Charles’ blessing – and making his own decisions as king.”

Rob Shuter’s Substack, recently reported that the King is “dying,” and this reality has forced Prince William to take on more royal duties. According to Shuter, the King is “seriously unwell but determined to carry on,” with a source explaining that, “He’s exhausted, but he won’t stop. “Every morning he insists on reading his red boxes. He believes his service to the country is his calling — and he’ll keep going as long as he can.”
