The relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry isn’t the best it can be these days. But recent reports suggest that, following the meeting between King Charles and Prince Harry, there is a possibility of reconciliation between the brothers. However, as always, some drama threatens to derail everything. This time, the drama centers on the schedules of both princes.

Prince William is currently on an official trip to Brazil. That part everyone already knew about. But just recently, Prince Harry announced a new trip to Canada. And that’s when people started accusing Harry of trying to upstage his brother. But Prince Harry made sure to shut that down fast.

In a statement to the Daily Mail, a spokesperson for Prince Harry said that since he is “not afforded the same level of security and protection as other working members of the Royal Family,” that translated to the fact “that the period of time in which we can release details of events is much more truncated than it is for His Majesty the King or the Prince of Wales.”

The spokesperson added, “The events were planned nearly a year ago. The date of the main event, the dinner, is set by the charity, not Prince Harry. The period of Remembrancetide traditionally extends from the 1-11 November and has done since 1918, over 100 years. He can’t choose to move those dates.”

Prince Harry also reportedly informed the royal family of his events in advance, so there would be no reason for anyone to feel slighted by his announcement.

“We are always guided—as to when we can announce trips like this, by the advice given to us by his private security advisers and the event’s security team. This visit, months in the planning, marks a return to a city that has a special place in the Duke’s heart, having played host to the Invictus Games back in 2017,” the statement added.

All of this comes as reports that, after Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were stripped of their titles after Andrew’s recent scandals, Harry could be next. A source told Page Six they “would not be surprised” if it happened. This, reportedly, has to do with the fact that British politician Rachael Maskell relaunched her proposal for a “Removal of Titles Bill” which would give King Charles and, one day, Prince William, the power to remove hereditary titles.

“If they pass these bills, I would not be surprised if Harry is the next one to go,” the outlet reported from a source. “I would not be surprised if William does that … he’s not a vindictive person, but he feels very let down and it’s always much more difficult when you are let down by somebody close to you.”

Whether what we get next is a reconciliation between Prince William and Prince Harry, which is what their father King Charles reportedly wants, or further separation between the brothers that leads to Harry losing his titles, we will have to wait and see.
