In photographs from the event, Camilla could be speaking to Kate from a balcony as they watched their husbands lay wreaths in honor of those who lost their lives in war. According to a lip reader for Express, Camilla could be seen shuffling the order of the service in her hand as she muttered the word “wow” to Kate.
Kate and Camilla’s public appearance came two months after their awkward moment with Melania at the Trumps’ State Visit, where Camilla was accused of shooing away Kate to speak to Melania on her own. After the moment, a source told Radar Online about how the incident “strained” Kate and Camilla’s relationship even more than it was. “Things were strained backstage,” the insider said. “All eyes were on Kate, and Camilla was clearly aware of that. She was furious that the attention had slipped away from her and knew people would gossip about it later.”
