The former Prince Andrew might have been stripped of his titles and asked to vacate his home of Royal Lodge, but it has been clear for a while that this probably isn’t the end. In fact, it seems as if he is facing some consequences for his actions in the UK now, it’s because the British royal family is attempting to do some amount of damage control after covering up for him for so long. But what else could come next?
Well, British PM Keir Starmer hasn’t exactly commented on Andrew in particular, but he did make a comment that seems to suggest he thinks the former prince should testify about his association with Epstein, according to CBS News. “I don’t comment on his particular case,” Starmer said. “But as a general principle I’ve held for a very long time is that anybody who has got relevant information in relation to these kind of cases should give that evidence to those that need it.”

Andrew has not responded to a request from members of the House Oversight Committee for a transcribed interview about his long-standing friendship with Epstein, and there have been reports that he will not set foot in the United States again for fear of being compelled to testify.
This all comes after Andrew had his Prince title stripped, with the royal family announcing he will now be known as Andrew Mountbouten-Windsor. He has yet to vacate his home of Royal Lodge, but reports indicate he will be moving to the King’s estate in Sandringham, where he is to remain far away from the public eye. This is likely because some reports indicate the fallout for him is far from over.
Royal biographer Andrew Lownie, who wrote Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, recently said both Andrew and Fergie have worse things to look forward to. “Andrew is going to be charged with various public offences and misconduct in public office… he’ll probably go to jail,” he said to NewsNation. “The case against him is pretty clear. He’s absolutely, he’s toast.”
However, according to Lownie, it won’t be Andrew’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein and accounts of sexual abuse that do him in. “He won’t go down for sex trafficking,” Lownie explained. “It will be for financial impropriety.”
This all ties back to the fact that Andrew reportedly spent a lot of money on his trips as a trade envoy, preferring to stay in luxury accommodations and paying for sex workers. The Metropolitan Police is also said to be “actively looking into” claims that Andrew asked a protection officer to dig up information about his accuser, Virginia Giuffre.
Without the protection of his title, this could all turn ugly for Andrew. A source told RadarOnline.com, “Andrew’s in a very precarious position now. Without the protection his royal titles gave him, he’s more wide open to legal action.”
“The Palace has clearly distanced itself, and he’s been left to deal with the fallout over his links to Epstein alone. He is a sitting duck for law enforcement, and very vulnerable. He should be getting a top legal team in place now.”
Will we see him testify? Will he face jail time? Only time will tell.
