The drama surrounding the former prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, doesn’t seem like it’s about to die down anytime soon. And though Ferguson hasn’t really been a part of the royal family for decades after her divorce from Andrew Mountbouten Windsor, she was at least in the periphery, considering the two maintained such a good relationship that they still lived together. And she continued to use the title of Duchess of York until recently, when Andrew was stripped of it.
But how is her relationship to the rest of the royal family? Reportedly complicated. And according to the National Examiner, her relationship with Queen Camilla might be the most precarious of all. After the latest scandal, “Camilla has just blanked Sarah,” an insider told the outlet. “Sarah is very hurt.”

It wasn’t that long ago that Ferguson told The Sunday Times she was “so close” to Camilla. “I admire the extraordinary support she’s giving this country,” Ferguson told the publication. “I want to do as much for the queen as possible. I wish they’d ask me to do more.”
Ferguson, however, feels like Camilla isn’t providing the same support for her at such a complicated time. “Sarah keeps saying Camilla owes her — she cannot believe she’s suddenly being treated like some problem to avoid,” an insider said. “She says she stood by Camilla through the darkest years.”
The source also shared that, despite Ferguson’s friendship with the late Princess Diana, she was able to look past the queen’s affair with Charles and develop a close relationship with Camilla. “Camilla was like a sister to Sarah,” the insider said. “But she’s been pushed into a corner and that is making Sarah very dangerous.”
What does that mean? “She’s a ticking time bomb — and the angrier she gets, the more likely she is to go through with threats to take everyone down with her. Sarah has enough stories to make everyone in the royal family very embarrassed, especially Charles and Camilla.”
This comes after The Express recently reported that Fergie has an “appetite for revenge” and is “not happy” with King Charles‘ decision to throw her out of Royal Lodge alongside Andrew.
TalkTV host Mark Dolan said on SkyNews, “She feels that she’s been thrown under the bus, that it was Andrew’s ill-advised relationship with the disgraced ex-financier, and therefore, she’s got the record to set straight. She needs the cash, and it’s very possible that she will sign a million-dollar deal to spill the beans… The big problem is for Charles because this whole scandal threatens to taint his entire reign as monarch.”
Ironically, Sarah Ferguson’s involvement in the Epstein scandal doesn’t just come from her closeness with her ex, Andrew. Fergie had a close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein herself. Emails published by the Mail on Sunday showed Ferguson apologizing to Epstein weeks after publicly disowning him, back in 2011. By that time, Epstein had already been convicted of felony solicitation of prostitutes and procuring persons under 18 for prostitution.
