The health of US President Donald Trump has been a topic of conversation for the last few months. Part of it is that the President is 79 years old, and some worry about the health of anyone at that age is normal. The other is, of course, he is the President of the United States, so there’s always a microscope on anyone in that office. One that has people noticing the smallest things.
Like, for example, his hands. And the weird makeup, bruising, and discoloration.
The President, who has appeared with bruises on his right hand before, was seen sporting two band-aids on his hand during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, according to RadarOnline.com. The outlet also reported that Trump has been seen using flesh-colored makeup to cover up his bruises. But Trump, who addressed his health, made it seem like there was nothing to worry about.

“I’ll let you know when there’s something wrong,” Trump told reporters, seemingly upset about the focus on his health. “There will be someday. That’s gonna happen to all of us. But right now, I think I’m sharper than I was 25 years ago.”
However, despite the President claiming all is well, there was at least one moment during the meeting where he seemed to be tired, leaning back and closing his eyes. He even did so as Secretary of State Marco Rubio talked.
During the meeting, Trump also addressed his cognitive health, saying he read in The New York Times, “Is Trump sharp?”
“Trump is sharp. But they’re not sharp. That’s why they’re going out of business, The New York Times. I hear they’re losing so much money, it’s ridiculous. They’re a bunch of fakers,” he said.
The White House has not commented on the band-aids.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt previously tried to explain the bruises in Trump’s hand, saying, “This is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular prevention regimen.”
She also added, back in July, “President Trump is a man of the people,” she dished to reporters at the time. “And he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other president in history. His commitment is unwavering, and he proves that every single day.”
However, not everyone is going along with the official story. An insider told Radar that the bruised hands were concerning. “The same discoloration is still clearly visible on his hand in the war room picture,” they revealed, saying that the bruise was worrisome, particularly due to Trump’s age. “It’s an alarming sign when someone with potential illnesses as varied as dementia and syphilis has the world’s security in the palm of his hands,” they added.
And the hands are not the only thing that has had people worried lately. After a recent MRI, questions swirled about the President’s health and the need for the exam in the first place. The White House deemed the MRI as “preventive” when questioned about it by reporters, with Leavitt insisting Trump’s health remains “excellent.”
Considering Trump is the President of the United States, if he is indeed sick, we will probably find out sooner rather than later.
