Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been one of the steadiest celebrity couples of the past few years. And yet, being in the spotlight means there will be speculation about everything from what you do, what you wear, what you said, and of course, the state of your relationship. The two are probably used to it at this point; it happens so often.
The latest round has to do with Prince Harry’s ex, Chelsy Davy. RadarOnline.com is reporting that Harry “desperately regrets” his marriage after new of ex Davy moving to a “paradise” with her family. Davy and her husband Sam Cutmore-Scott are relocating with their family to Mauritius.

One source said, “He’s been unusually reflective, almost anguished at times. Hearing about Chelsy building this peaceful family life has hit him harder than he expected.” The source also added, “He keeps saying she was the one person who really understood the madness of his world.”
“There’s this sense that he wonders what might have been if he hadn’t walked away from her. It’s become a recurring theme in his thinking – regret, nostalgia and the fear he made a series of irreversible mistakes.”
Not just that, some say he has become “fixated” on Chelsey’s life at the moment. “He talks about how uncomplicated things always felt with her. Watching her settle into this idyllic new life has stirred up all kinds of emotions – not least because his own situation in California is far from the fairy tale that was promised.”
Considering other recent reports paint his new life in California as pretty much idyllic, we’re going to take these Chelsy Davy reports with a boulder of salt. Not that long ago, Markle talked about how much Harry enjoys seeing her be creative. “My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing I was doing when he first met me,” she told PEOPLE earlier this year. “It’s almost like a honeymoon period again.”
And then there’s the With Love, Meghan holiday special itself, where we see Markle try to build rituals for her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet—including crafting huge advent calendars, making snacks and cooking the Christmas Eve gumbo she learned from her mother.
It’s not just Markle, either. Harry makes an appearance in the special, checking in as Markle cooks the gumbo to tell her it’s “close” to being as good as her mother’s. Harry seems to understand that winning over his mother in love will get him points. It’s a very sweet moment, as the two joke around and share a couple of kisses. Doesn’t really give off man with regrets.
And friends told PEOPLE that the spotlight doesn’t affect Harry and Meghan. “It never creates friction between them,” a source said. “They’re fully aligned and always operate as a team. It never puts them at odds.”
Probably a good thing, considering it’s unlikely the attention will stop anytime soon.
