Keith Urban & JLo Have Reportedly Reconnected After Their Divorces as Their Friends Wonder if ‘Something More’ Has ‘Sparked’ Between Them
Sometimes Hollywood gives us the strangest couple pairings. Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman were always one of those couples, with the country star and the Oscar-winning actress seeming like total opposites. And if we’re being honest, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were always another duo we didn’t imagine together until it happened. And now, from the ashes of those two divorces, could we get another unlikely relationship?
Reports indicate Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban might be getting closed amid their divorces. Yes, you read that right. “J.Lo reached out to Keith as soon as she found out he and Nicole had split up, she wanted to offer her support and check in,” insiders told Heat World UK. “A lot of people did that for her when she and Ben broke up and it meant everything to her. It’s been more than a year now and she’s still hurting over her divorce so she’s very sensitive to anyone going through the end of a marriage.”

Sources also added, “Keith has been so grateful for her support, a lot of people have shunned him in favour of Nicole so J.Lo’s kindness is highlighted. She knows what a good heart he has and thinks it’s horrendous that he is having to deal with all these attacks on his character.”
Urban and Lopez have reportedly been friends since their time as judges on American Idol, which went from Season 13 to Season 15. “They always shared a lot of laughs back in the Idol days, and that fun rapport is there just as strong as ever, to the point where people are even starting to wonder if something more might have sparked.”
However, romance rumors aside, insiders indicate it’s all “platonic.” In fact, they said, “They’re mostly sending each other encouraging messages and funny memes, but that hasn’t stopped people from seeing the potential for something more here.”
Recent reports about Urban’s love life indicate he is already dating someone, even if it’s not Lopez. “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”
And according to Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop Urban was the one who decided to end the marriage. “Nicole wanted to fight for them, but Keith had already checked out—and she knew why. It wasn’t about distance, schedules, or bad habits. It was about another woman. And Nicole knows who she is.” Another insider told the journalist, “She’s not naïve. She heard the stories; she saw the signs. At some point, the truth becomes impossible to ignore. She’s not going to live as anyone’s second choice.”
Lopez, meanwhile, is single these days, though RadarOnline.com recently reported that the singer and actress has stayed in touch with Affleck’s kids, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13, arranging for them to hang out with her own children, Max and Emme, 17. “That’s gone a long way with Ben’s kids, and what they’d like more than anything, as would J.Lo’s kids, is to see Bennifer 3.0,” a source said.
Seems unlikely, but this is Hollywood, so who knows what couple will get back together or what new one try a romance next.
