Inside Keith Urban’s ‘Extra Secretive’ Dates After Reports He’s Reconnected With Jlo Amid Nicole Kidman Divorce
Ever since Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman announced their divorce, there have been allegations about both of them moving on. But this is especially true for Urban, who, according to reports, was the one who decided to end the marriage and the one who is already involved with someone else. So, what exactly is happening with his love life these days?
According to Closer, Urban has tried to be discreet since the breakup, with the country singer trying to be “extra secretive.” That includes avoiding being seen in public so that his personal life doesn’t become tabloid fodder. The outlet reports Urban has tried to focus on music, but that hasn’t stopped the reports about his dating life.

“The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.” Two names have surfaced since this first report: rising country singer Karley Scott Collins, who performed on Urban’s tour earlier this year, and guitarist Maggie Baugh. There has been no confirmation about either, and people close to Baugh denied the claims.
Recent reports also indicate Urban has reconnected with an old friend. “J.Lo reached out to Keith as soon as she found out he and Nicole had split up, she wanted to offer her support and check in,” insiders told Heat World UK. “A lot of people did that for her when she and Ben broke up and it meant everything to her. It’s been more than a year now and she’s still hurting over her divorce so she’s very sensitive to anyone going through the end of a marriage.”
That reportedly meant to lot to Urban. “Keith has been so grateful for her support, a lot of people have shunned him in favour of Nicole so J.Lo’s kindness is highlighted. She knows what a good heart he has and thinks it’s horrendous that he is having to deal with all these attacks on his character.” The two have been friends since their days as judges on American Idol.
Urban and Kidman’s marriage has had quite a rocky end, and according to Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop, it was all Urban’s decision. “Nicole wanted to fight for them, but Keith had already checked out—and she knew why. It wasn’t about distance, schedules, or bad habits. It was about another woman. And Nicole knows who she is.” Another insider told the journalist, “She’s not naïve. She heard the stories; she saw the signs. At some point, the truth becomes impossible to ignore. She’s not going to live as anyone’s second choice.”
The gossip columnist’s ShuterScoop also recently reported that Urban and Kidman’s daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, are standing by their mother. “They love their dad, but Nicole’s been the constant,” one insider said. “She’s been there for every school event, every bedtime. Keith’s been touring, filming — gone.”
Kidman also reportedly got primary custody of the two, so it’s unknown how much time Urban is even spending with his daughters. Whatever he’s doing at this point, he clearly wants to keep it private.
