If there’s such a thing as trauma bonding, perhaps that’s exactly what Andrew and Fergie are doing. Maybe that’s what they’ve been doing for years. And perhaps the trauma they’re bonding over isn’t even real trauma, but perceived trauma. After all, the two have been accused of some pretty bad stuff, particularly surrounding their connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. And losing privileges due to your own actions isn’t actually trauma.
But either way, it looks like Andrew and Fergie might have found their way back to each other, if they ever even left each other. It’s complicated. It always has been.

“Andrew and Sarah share a unique understanding that no one else can relate to,” an insider told RadarOnline, with the publication even saying that the loss of their titles and the eviction from Royal Lodge has brought them closer together.
“Friends are saying they appear happier and closer than they have [been] in years, and there’s a definite spark when they’re alone,” the source added. Another source suggested there’s a “thrill” for the two in navigating the scandal together.
“[Andrew and Sarah] see each other as their only safe harbour – the only person who truly understands the pressures, the scrutiny, and the constant public judgment. That shared refuge has reignited a spark between them.”
The two originally met as children, reconnected in 1986 and married the following year. Their marriage didn’t last, they separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996, but have remained close since and have lived together since 2002. They are expected to spend Christmas together before vacating Royal Lodge in the new year. They share two children, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
And the couple, who is reportedly “back together” will now make their first public appearance amid this recent scandal at the christening of their granddaughter, Athena, daughter of Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The christening will take place on December 12 at the Chapel Royal, St James Palace. There has been no confirmation about any other members of the royal family attending.
This comes after recent reports that the couple might be considering relocating abroad. But not to the United States, where the two might be compelled to testify against Congress, according to royal biographer Andrew Lownie. ”Andrew will not respond or testify in front of Congress,” he explained to NewsNationNow.
“He — or his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson — will never travel to the United States again. Neither want to be arrested or forced to testify in front of Congress about their friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.”
“Both of them were much friendlier with Epstein than people imagine,” Lownie said, explaining it is expected that the Epstein files will prove “that their friendship with Epstein began much earlier than previously thought and that it lasted much longer than people say.”
What the relationship between Andrew and Fergie is now and what it will be once they actually have to vacate Royal Lodge we will have to wait and see.
