Jeffrey Epstein’s connections didn’t stop at the former Prince Andrew. In fact, his royalty connections didn’t even stop at Andrew Mountbouten-Windsor. Considering how many people came in contact with the convicted sex offender, that part is not surprising. But the name might be.
Sweden’s Princess Sofia reportedly met Epstein several times in 2005, back when she was a young lingerie model, a full decade before marrying Prince Carl-Philip. New leaked documents show that her mentor, Swedish businesswoman Barbro Ehnbom, tried to put her in touch with Epstein, Dagens Nyheter, Sweden’s leading newspaper, reported.

In an email dated December 2005 featuring a photo of the now-princess, Ehnbom wrote to Epstein, “This is Sofia, an aspiring actress who just arrived in New York. She’s the girl I told you about before I left, who I thought you might like to meet. Maybe we can visit before you go on holiday?”
Epstein responded, “I’m in the Caribbean. Does she want to come for a couple of days? I’ll send a ticket.”
According to the Swedish Royal Court stated Sofia never went to Epstein’s island, though they did confirm the two had met, saying she had “been introduced to the person in question on a few occasions around 2005,” and adding, “The princess has not had any contact with the person in question for 20 years.” Epstein died in a New York City jail while awaiting trial in 2019.

This all comes after reports that Andrew won’t ever step foot in the United States again. RadarOnline reported that “He knows Congress can’t subpoena him abroad, so staying away is his only shield,” with one source saying, “There’s a feeling he will die without ever stepping foot back in America. That’s how deep Andrew’s fear of facing questioning in America appears to run.”
He has been asked to sit for a transcribed interview with the House oversight committee, with one of the Democratic members of the committee, Suhas Subramanyam, saying Andrew “has been hiding from us,” and “I think he will continue to try to hide from people doing meaningful investigations of this matter.”
“It seems like every time we find more evidence, prince Andrew seems to be in the documents. And so I think if he is hoping that the story will just go away by ignoring us and being silent, he will be sorely disappointed, as we continue to pursue this over the next year and beyond.”
For now, Andrew is set to spend Christmas at Royal Lodge, as he has refused to vacate what has been his home for many years before the holidays. But insiders are saying it will be a “sad, lonely” affair driven by his “stubbornness.”
“He’s treating it almost like a squatter situation, staying put until everything is completely ready for his move,” sources explained. “It is typical, Andrew – pathetic, childish, and ridiculous.”
But there’s a sense that perhaps he’s not being pushed too hard yet, because no one actually wants him at Sandringham for Christmas, as he won’t be invited for the family’s holiday celebration. “The family feels relieved he won’t be there for Christmas. It spares everyone an awkward situation with the senior royals after such a turbulent year,” a source said.
