Both Rob and Michele Reiner’s presence in Hollywood will be missed. Their bodies were found in their Brentwood home on Dec. 14 after they were allegedly murdered by their son, Nick.

Their other children, Romy and Jake, released a statement on Dec. 17. “Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing every moment of the day. The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something that no one should ever experience,” the statement read. “They weren’t just our parents; they were our best friends.”

“We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences, kindness, and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life,” it continued. “We now ask for respect and privacy, for speculation to be tempered with compassion and humanity, and for our parents to be remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave.”

The two were last seen at Conan O’Brien’s holiday party, where Nick was heard in a “very loud argument.” He was later arrested a day after their bodies were found.

What is Michele Reiner’s net worth?

Michele Reiner’s sole net worth isn’t known. However, she shared a net worth with her husband, Rob, that’s worth $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Michele Singer Reiner started off her career as a photographer and took the cover photo for Donald Trump’s The Art of the Deal. Her husband would later become a vocal critic of Trump. The two met on the set of his highly successful film When Harry Met Sally. She served as co-president of her husband’s production company Castle Rock Entertainment. She was also the founder of the photography company Reiner Light.

Nick Reiner made his first appearance in court on Dec. 17 and was charged with two counts of first-degree murder with a special circumstance of multiple murders, and a special allegation for the use of a dangerous weapon, a knife. He is represented by celebrity attorney Alan Jackson, who has represented Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, and Karen Read. Nick Reiner’s next court appearance will be on Jan. 7.

According to celebrity gossip Substack Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop, a source disclosed that Nick Reiner’s legal fees will be paid by his late parents. Nick has never earned a living in his life,” the insider revealed. “He’s always lived off his parents. And now, even in death, it looks like he’s still relying on their money.”

“He doesn’t have the funds from his own money,” another insider adds. “It’s tragic and bizarre — his whole life has been supported by his parents, and now their money is paying for his defense.”

However, California’s Slayer Statute may deem that Nick cannot inherit anything from his will if he is convicted. If he is convicted of murder, he will be excluded from being appointed as an executor, trustee, guardian, conservator, or custodian of the estate. Rob Reiner has four children, Jake, Nick, and Romy with his wife Michele, and Tracy, his adoptive daughter from his marriage with Penny Marshall.
