Barron Trump might be the least high-profile kid of US President Donald Trump, but that doesn’t mean he’s completely out of the spotlight. Or that people aren’t interested in what he’s doing. And with Barron Trump being the only one of Trump’s kids living in the White House, people are also interested in his relationship with both his parents as well as his future.
Now, reports indicate Barron will make his big-screen debut in his mother, Melania Trump’s, upcoming film, Melania. This was confirmed by his presence in the trailer, which drops January 30.

“Everyone wants to know, so here it is,” Melania Trump says in the trailer as multiple clips of her preparing to become the first lady again play. Barron can be seen with her mother at one point, and at another point, waving to an audience.

All of this comes after some people close to the President suggested Barron could end up playing a large role in whatever happens to TikTok after he signed an executive order clearing the way for investors to operate a US version of the app. Former TikTok producer, Jack Advent, celebrated news of a deal to keep the app running in the United States with the suggestion that Barron could have a large role to play in the company.
“President Trump delivered on his promise to save TikTok and the millions of Americans who run their businesses and get their unfiltered news through the app,” Advent told the Daily Mail.
“Young people are overwhelmingly the user base of TikTok. I’m hopeful President Trump will consider appointing his son Barron and maybe other young Americans to TikTok’s board to help ensure it remains an app young people want to keep using,” he said.
There has been no announcement from the Trump administration regarding a possible role for Barron Trump with TikTok.
Recently, however, there were reports that the youngest Trump was indeed interested in business. According to People, he is very focused on making a name for himself, and not romance, as some have speculated. “I don’t think that’s a big deal in his life right now,” sources told the outlet.
“Barron has been actively working on his own financial interests and has spent time with others whom he is involved with in that area,” a source said. In fact, recent reports indicated he was looking to start his own real estate company. People reported that he “wants to follow in his dad’s footsteps,” and added, “He is interested in business in general, developing properties, making money, and being involved in successful projects.”
And even though show business doesn’t seem to be of any particular interest to the youngest member of the Trump family, it seems like he will not shy away from it either way. We don’t know how big his role in his mother’s movie is, but since being in the spotlight has always been the way the Trump family has done business, his appearance is actually on par for the course.
