Kate Middleton and Prince William are two very different people, and the way they handle their relationships is also very different. That has become clear thanks to reports indicating Middleton has been the one urging William to reconcile with his brother Harry. But what about the recent drama with Andrew? How do the two feel about the disgraced prince and his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie?
According to RadarOnline.com, Middleton is trying to shield the two princesses as best she can. “Kate has been in contact with Eugenie and Beatrice over the phone about the difficult situation they are facing. She understands how painful it must be for them to endure such intense public scrutiny and is torn over how much to get involved.”

The source added, “Kate has been in the public glare for decades and shares a real bond with the sisters but is cautious about stepping too far into such a troubling matter,” telling the outlet that, “Eugenie and Beatrice are seeking her support, and she wants to be there for them, yet she also knows they risk being judged because of their parents.”
Reportedly, the trio are close, but not best friends. “They may not see each other often, but when they do, there is genuine warmth and support. The Wales family recognizes how challenging this has been for the girls. They understand it’s not their fault and know it’s deeply unfair.”
“Kate doesn’t consider Beatrice and Eugenie part of her closest inner circle, but there is real warmth and support between them. Their relationship is constructive and supportive, with genuine moments of care. Kate hopes the intense public attention around the scandal eases for the princesses – she wants only the best for them and hates to see them affected by their parents’ massive missteps.”
This comes after Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie joined the royal family for their annual Christmas walk and mostly avoided fans, looking uncomfortable. Body language expert Judi James told Cosmopolitan the walk was “choreographed” and that “Eugenie fiddled with the buttons of her coat in an auto-contact barrier ritual that suggested a desire to self-protect, hinting at some fear or worry about the fans’ responses during this more intimate part of the outing.”
Recent reports about Beatrice and Eugenie indicated their relationship with William was solid. Royal biographer Robert Jobson told Hello! About Prince William, “His position is direct: Beatrice and Eugenie must not be punished for their father’s alleged sins.”
However, that doesn’t mean William reportedly agreed with them joining the family for the Christmas walk in the middle of new revelations about Andrew Mountbouten-Windsor’s ties to Epstein. According to Rob Shuter, William warned the King that allowing the princesses to walk with the rest of the family wasn’t a great idea, but the King overruled him. “William said it was a disaster waiting to happen,” one court insider said. “He argued the timing was toxic and that it would hurt everyone involved — especially the sisters.”
