Where Orlando Bloom Stands With Katy Perry Now Amid Reports Their Daughter ‘Clicked Instantly’ With Justin Trudeau’s Family
The end of any relationship can get messy, and this is true even when both parties aren’t big celebrities. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are, so of course, there was a lot of discourse around the end of their engagement. The discourse got even stronger when Perry started dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Now, that relationship is getting more and more serious. So, where does that leave Orlando Bloom?
Well, things appear to be cordial, as both Perry and Bloom attended the press night of the new Paddington musical in London, according to Hello! Magazine. Behind-the-scenes videos shared by the star of the production, Tarinn Callender, showed the former couple talking to members of the cast, with their daughter Daisy Dove and Orlando’s son, Flynn Bloom, who he shares with ex Miranda Kerr, also in attendance.

Neither of them spoke to the press, but the joint outing seems to showcase a desire for the two to remain a united front when it comes to their daughter, and to Flynn, whom they had been co-parenting for years. A breakup can be complicated for the parents, but it’s always important to keep stability for the kids.
This all comes after reports that Trudeau and Perry are moving on fast in their own relationship. The National Enquirer reports that the two have already introduced their kids. The two are “crazy about each other,” an insider claimed, adding, “This isn’t a fling.”
“Katy’s daughter, Daisy, has spent time around Justin. And his three kids — Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien — have met Katy,” a source said. “It was warm. It was easy. The kids clicked instantly.”
Not just that, there are reports indicating that Perry has stepped in to help Trudeau’s son, Xavier, with his music career. The teen recently released a video that got a negative reaction online.
“Katy told him point-blank that every artist gets dragged. She wanted him to know she understands exactly how it feels,” an insider told Rob Shuter’s Shuterscoop. Another source added, “[Perry] connected him with producers and told him to keep working. She wants him to take the criticism seriously, but not personally.”
“She’s there as support, not a manager. She listens to his demos, but she also tells him when something doesn’t work… He feels safer with her in his corner.”
Perry and Trudeau were seen together very soon after the singer broke up with her ex, Orlando Bloom, in July 2025. In October 2025, the two seemingly confirmed that they were a couple when they were seen holding hands outside the Crazy Horse in Paris for Perry’s birthday.
Trudeau, like Perry, separated recently. In August of 2023, he and his wife Sophie Grégoire announced they were splitting after 18 years of marriage. The former couple shares 3 kids, Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.
So, things seem to be cordial all around, which bodes well for Katy Perry’s new relationship. It’s always better when there’s no drama.
