There is a lot of drama going on in the Trump presidency, basically at all times. And some of the drama can feel very high school. Elon Musk is friends with Trump. Then they have a public falling out. Then they’re friends again. But is Trump friends with Jeff Bezos, too? And are he and Musk in a feud? It’s hard to keep track.

It seems like things are going well in the Elon/Trump friendship tracker these days. “Had a lovely dinner last night with POTUS and FLOTUS,” Musk posted on Sunday, referring to a Saturday night dinner. He also included a photo of the trio together at their table. “2026 is going to be amazing!”

The dinner reportedly took place hours after Trump gave the go-ahead for the U.S. military to seize Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Musk has recently signaled a return to politics, after a spectacular falling out with Trump last year, where he even suggested the President was in the Epstein files, and that’s why they weren’t being released. “America is toast if the radical left wins,“ Musk wrote in another X post. “They will open the floodgates to illegal immigration and fraud. Won’t be America anymore.”

The billionaire was a supporter of Trump since his campaign, and reportedly donated almost $290 million. After Trump won, he was appointed to the new Department of Government Efficiency. This led to severe backlash against Musk’s companies, especially Tesla. The two then had a public falling out, where each side commented on the other—Trump even said he’d have Musk deported. But now, it seems all is well again.

During a recent podcast, hosted by Katie Miller, the wife of Trump advisor Stephen Miller, Musk admitted that if he had to do it all over again, he would reject the opportunity to manage DOGE. “Instead of doing DOGE, I would have basically built, worked on my companies, essentially,” he said. “And they wouldn’t have been burning the cars.”

All of this comes after reports that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is looking to become the President’s favorite billionaire. Bezos reportedly invited Trump to his wedding with Lauren Sanchez, but the President was unable to attend. Ivanka Trump, however, did attend the ceremony. Musk, who very much moves in the same billionaire circles as Bezos, was not invited to the nuptials.

The Daily Mail reported that Bezos, who has long clashed with Musk over the space race, tried to charm his way in while Trump and Musk were feuding. He reportedly reached out to Trump just days after his public fight with Musk. Musk’s SpaceX contracts with the government have helped make him the world’s richest man, and Bezos presumably thought befriending the President would help his Blue Origin company.

His wife, Sanchez, has reportedly also befriended Ivanka Trump.

Whether Trump and Jeff Bezos remain on good terms or not, it seems like the Musk and Trump friendship has now been mended. But hey, two billionaire friends are better than one, right? Even if they reportedly don’t get along. And if Trump has to choose between them, well… things will get pretty interesting.
