Keith Urban Reportedly Having ‘Serious Regrets’ About Nicole Kidman’s Divorce After Reports She’s Getting ‘Close’ to Her Former Heartthrob Costar
Nothing makes you rethink your decisions quite like seeing the person you walked away from is doing well, is happy, and is even moving on. And that is reportedly what’s happening with Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.

Not just that, reports indicate he has already moved on, while Kidman—who has custody of their two daughters—has been holding down the fort with her two daughters and was recently seen in Australia with them for the holidays.

Could Urban now be having second thoughts? According to Star, he is. “He’s hurting and there are some serious regrets starting to kick in,” an insider told the outlet. “He misses the kids terribly and he’s finding it tough to deal with the harsh reality that his family is blown up.”
Plus, there’s the fact that the divorce is costing him. “Even if he and Nicole are keeping the divorce as amicable as possible,” the source said, “he’s plowing through a fortune.”
Earlier reports had indicated Urban had already moved on, so this is a surprising development. “The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”
Then there are reports that Kidman has been finding comfort in her friend Russell Crowe, to the point that his girlfriend is feeling a little threatened. According to OK! Magazine, the Gladiator star, who has been a friend of Kidman for a while, has taken on the role of sounding board.
A source close to the actor said, “He understands exactly how devastating it is when a long marriage ends. He’s lived through that heartbreak himself, so when Nicole leaned on him, he didn’t hesitate. People think he’s all hard edges, but with her, he’s showing a much softer side.” Sources even say that his partner, Britney Theriot, allegedly isn’t very happy about it.
Radar Online reported that the two are in constant communication. “He’s been on the phone to her nearly every day just to check in and lift her spirits. They even managed to meet up for coffee not that long ago. Nicole is putting on a brave face but she’s been rocked by this. Russell has helped to steady her and she’s so grateful.”

Work. “Russell throws himself into work when he’s having a hard time, and Nicole is taking that advice to heart,” a source told the gossip site. “She’s signed on for one project after another. Some are even overlapping, so there’s very little time for her to wallow in sadness. Russell has pushed for them to collaborate on something. He’s sending her projects that he’s interested in, pushing her to read them.”
