Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban‘s divorce has finally been finalized. Nearly 5 months after they announced their split, the Babygirl actress and “Somebody Like You” singer have agreed to a settlement.

On Jan. 6, 2025, the stars entered into an agreement involving their children, Sunday Rose, 15, and Faith Margaret, 15. The agreement, obtained by People, states that the two should “behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.”

Kidman will hold primary residence for the daughters as she has them for 306 days out of the year. Urban was granted 59 days out of the year, with their daughters allowed to spend every other weekend, from 10 a.m. on Saturday morning to 6 p.m. on Sunday evening, with him. “They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent,” the agreement states. “They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.”

Kidman has often spoken positively about her kids. In an Interview feature with Ariana Grande, she said that her kids manage fame better, saying it’s “a constant push-pull” that “exists for everyone.”

“I’m raising teenage girls right now, and it’s fascinating. I think they have an armor that we didn’t get,” she shared, adding, “or that I certainly didn’t get, because there was no social media. The very, very young now have already gone, ‘We know exactly how to handle this.’”

ShuterScoop recently reported that the two have been standing by their mother throughout the divorce process. “They love their dad, but Nicole’s been the constant,” one insider said. “She’s been there for every school event, every bedtime. Keith’s been touring, filming — gone.”

It isn’t just about being there, but about temperament, with Urban reportedly having a “fiery temper” unlike Kidman. “The girls have seen who held it all together,” the source explained. “They feel safest with Nicole.” And Kidman has been very focused on her family life since the split. “She’s turning their home into a sanctuary,” a family friend said. “There’s yoga, journaling, family dinners — all about healing.”

Though a source told People recently that there aren’t any hard feelings with the family. “Their daughters live with Nicole, but spend as much time with Keith as they want,” the insider shared. “There is no drama.”
