‘Ruthless’ Kate Reportedly ‘Won’t Back Down’ From ‘Bitter Feud’ With ‘Territorial’ Camilla—Their Fight Has Become ‘Nuclear’
The relationship between Queen Camilla and Kate Middleton has reportedly not been good for a while. And their rumored feud is just another one to add to the list of rumored feuds in the royal family. Because if you believe the reports, everyone is still fighting with Harry, even though he and his father met up last year. And everyone is mad at Andrew—though this one feels like a rumor and more reality.
But what about the queen and future queen? According to Closer, “Kate’s been centre stage over Christmas, and Camilla’s been feeling sidelined. She’s still reeling from the banquet, feeling Kate’s tiara was no accident and highly symbolic. Kate was effectively telling the world that it won’t be long before she’s Queen. She’s adored within the family and by the British public, so it makes sense that she’s taking a bigger hand in shaping what the monarchy looks like moving forward,” a source said.

This all refers to Middleton donning Queen Victoria’s Oriental Circlet Tiara at the German state banquet last December, which some see as a sign that Middleton is preparing for a bigger role.
“She’s stepping up in a big way, and believes that the time of senior royals turning up for a quick photo op and calling it a day’s work is over. The old guard hates this – especially Camilla, who definitely doesn’t appreciate being told what standard she has to meet. But Kate is stronger than people think, and she is not backing down.”
The outlet also reports that Camilla’s reaction has been to push back. “There’s no doubt Camilla is panicked – but instead of falling into line and respecting Kate, she’s chosen to be territorial. Some believe Camilla should be afforded more respect and authority while she’s still Queen Consort. But the Waleses are capable of being ruthless, so they’re warning her to accept it.”
It comes after RadarOnline reported that the two can’t tolerate each other and that ever since US President Donald Trump and Melania Trump’s state visit, they’re locked in an “increasingly bitter feud.”
The stress about what happened with Andrew has reportedly not helped. “The situation with the Yorks has drained everyone involved, and Kate is no exception,” a source also said, adding that the feud has now escalated to “nuclear” levels.
“She has stood firmly behind William through months of fraught talks and hard choices, and it has weighed heavily on her, and left her in no mood to deal with Camilla. But things have reached such a height, the pair of them can barely bear to stay in the same room as one another.”
William and Kate being so involved in what happened with Andrew reportedly rubbed Queen Camilla the wrong way. “In Camilla’s eyes, it comes across as a grab for control,” an insider said. “She believes they forced the issue and effectively pushed her out of the process.”
Kate disagrees. “She sees the accusations as unjustified and unwarranted. There was no desire to undermine Charles or Camilla at any point – her priority has always been safeguarding the monarchy and her children.”
Where does this leave them? “Whenever they share the same space, the tension is palpable. The atmosphere becomes strained, and those around them can sense the unease immediately.”
