Katy Perry Just Shared Her 1st Post With Both Justin Trudeau & Orlando Bloom After She Skipped Her BF’s Birthday to Be With Her Ex
Moving on after a split is complicated, and that’s true even without adding the celebrity aspect and everyone paying attention to your every move. For Katy Perry, who is now dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and was previously engaged to actor Orlando Bloom, moving on and balancing family has been an adjustment. But the new relationship looks to be going strong, and Perry has seemingly integrated Trudeau into the family unit quite easily.
Proof of that is the singer’s new Instagram post, where she shared photos from her holidays. The carousel included a picture of Bloom playing with their daughter, and one of Perry kissing Trudeau. Talk about balancing all aspects of your life.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom separated early in 2025, and the singer started seeing Trudeau sometime in July. But Perry and Bloom were recently spotted together in London, with a source telling People they’re “always gonna be family and put their daughter first. They’re both super committed to keeping this family dynamic. All amicable and pretty easy.”
It was harder to figure out the romance because their “busy careers takes another kind of commitment,” but they’re “doing a great job at figuring it all out” for Daisy.
When the couple announced their split in June 2025, the statement they released said: “Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.”
How does this involve Trudeau? Well, according to recent reports from the National Enquirer, the relationship between him and Perry isn’t casual. The two are “crazy about each other,” an insider said, adding, “This isn’t a fling.”
“Katy’s daughter, Daisy, has spent time around Justin. And his three kids — Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien — have met Katy,” a source shared. “It was warm. It was easy. The kids clicked instantly.”
Perry made time for her daughter during the holidays, even heading to London’s Savoy Theatre to watch Paddington The Musical with Bloom, daughter Daisy Dove, and Bloom’s soon, Flynn.
“It was all happy families between Katy and Orlando at The Savoy,” an onlooker said. “They were getting on really well for the sake of the family and their kids were being super-cute.” The two also reportedly visited Winter Wonderland with friends.
That meant she missed Trudeau’s 54th birthday celebration on Christmas Day. The politician reportedly spent it partying on a yacht with friends, in the Caribbean.
But considering her latest Instagram post, that doesn’t seem to have caused any issues. If anyone can understand your children coming first, it’s probably Trudeau. He has three kids of his own. And the two still have plenty of time to spend together in the new year.
