Eugenie Accused of Snubbing Kate’s Birthday After Reports She Was Caught ‘Trash-Talking’ William—She Has ‘Bad Feelings’ Toward the Prince
Every day, there’s a new British royal feud to keep track of. There’s basically everyone, and the former Prince Andrew, who at this point has become the kind of pariah no one wants to associate with. There’s Prince Harry and Prince William, and perhaps still King Charles, though that part is unclear. And now, there’s Kate Middleton and… Princess Eugenie?
Middleton celebrated her birthday on January 9th, with many members of the British royal family posting public tributes on social media, including her parents-in-law, King Charles III and Queen Camilla. But one particular royal did not congratulate Middleton, at least in public: Princess Eugenie. And it’s enough to have people buzzing about a possible feud.

This, after all, comes after both Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice, skipped Middleton’s Christmas Carol service last month. In November 2025, royal commentator Neil Sean told Fox News Digital that “Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie received personal invitations for this year’s ‘Together at Christmas’ from Princess Catherine’s office.” However, neither attended. Around 1,600 people were present at the event.
“Wish Bea and I could have been celebrating tonight with our family,” Eugenie wrote on Instagram at the time, which is something a lot of people have brought up as proof that something is going on, since she kept conspicuously silent about Middleton’s birthday. “Wishing @princeandprincessofwales such a special evening at her incredible carol service. What an amazing message of love and hope.”
Not that long ago, The Express said about the sisters, “According to very good sources, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice are seemingly struggling to remain cordial with Prince William, Catherine, and Charles. It stems from the deal organised by William, the Queen, and Prince Charles to remove their father, Prince Andrew, from royal duties following his disgrace in recent years.”
Reportedly, the sisters weren’t happy about how things with their father played out. “Everyone’s telling them how lucky they are, but the fact that William was using that as a bargaining chip was something that still sits very badly with them,” an insider told the National Examiner. This follows reports that their titles and positions were used as bargaining chips for Andrew Mountbouten-Windsor to agree to relinquish his titles and move out of Royal Lodge. The latter has yet to happen.
This comes after reports that all of this had led to the sisters “trash-talking” their cousin, as they reportedly see William as the main figure in these decisions. “These bad feelings towards William will do them no good in the long run, but right now, the emotion is running sky-high,” an insider claimed. “They can’t help themselves. At the end of the day, they’re their parents’ daughters, very headstrong and defiant, and that’s really coming to the fore.”
Are Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, or just Eugenie, in a feud with Middleton? It’s hard to take a social media post or lack thereof as concrete evidence of anything, but considering the British royal family lately, we can’t exactly rule it out.
