The Beckham family drama doesn’t seem like it’s going to let up anytime soon. Brooklyn Beckham, David and Victoria’s oldest son, has seemingly had a falling out with his parents. And though rumors that the family wasn’t exactly seeing eye to eye have been swirling for a while, now Brooklyn has made the feud public. And he came out swinging.
Among the multiple things Brooklyn Beckham posted in stories about his parents, there’s a reference to the first dance at his wedding with Nicola Peltz. “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me,” he said. “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everybody. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

According to Rob Shuter, these Instagram Stories have rocked the family. “They’ve never seen him this angry or public before,” a source tells me. “David and Victoria are stunned. They’re trying to figure out how to protect their family name while respecting his boundaries, but honestly, they feel completely blindsided.”
Emotionally, it has reportedly been quite hard. “Victoria has been crying almost every hour since Brooklyn’s statement dropped,” one insider said. “She’s walking around in shock, unable to believe her son would speak to the world this way.”Same goes for David.
“He’s been pacing the house and replaying conversations in his head, wondering where it all went wrong,” a source said. “He hasn’t slept properly in nights and just can’t stop thinking about the rift.”
And Brooklyn has reportedly taken a stand. “He told them explicitly to only communicate through lawyers,” another insider explained. “That has left them feeling powerless and emotionally raw.”
But that doesn’t mean the video will ever see the light of day. “Brooklyn and Nicola are the only ones who have access to video,” a source told People. “It’s an extremely embarrassing moment for them and it would not be good for Brooklyn’s mental health to see this circulating online,” the insider explained. “It’s one of the most humiliating moments of his life and he doesn’t want it to be seen by the world.”
As for David and Victoria, Shuter says, “They’re trying not to make it worse,” a source told Shuter.
The Daily Mail had previously reported that “Brooklyn holds all the power when it comes to the video of Victoria dancing ‘inappropriately’ on him at his wedding to Nicola.”
“You can completely understand why Brooklyn would never have wanted the footage made public. Until now, he has stayed silent, but he is finally speaking out about his experiences with his family and, in particular, how deeply let down he felt by his mother on his wedding day,” the source added.
DJ Fat Tony, who performed a set at Brooklyn’s wedding to Nicola Peltz, made fun of Victoria on Instagram, commenting on a fictional video of an inappropriate dance with the caption: “Actual video footage it’s true I was there !”
“Thousands of people are now speculating about just how inappropriate Victoria’s performance really was, and releasing the footage could be the ultimate proof that everything Brooklyn has alleged is completely accurate,” the Daily Mail source also said. But, “the only person who can lawfully release that footage is Brooklyn himself. And while he’s clearly been pushed to breaking point, he may still feel it’s not something he wants to relive, especially on such a hugely public scale.”
