Brooklyn Beckham’s relationship with his parents is at its worst point. David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest child recently posted on Instagram about his issues with his parents, issues that reportedly have been going on for years. And in a way, the feud between the Beckhams feels eerily similar to what’s going on with Prince Harry and the British royal family. But has Harry reached out to Brooklyn? Do they get along?
According to Rob Shuter, the two have been in contact, with Harry stepping into a kind of mentor role for the oldest Beckham. “Harry sees a lot of himself in Brooklyn,” an insider said. “He doesn’t want Brooklyn to make the same emotional and strategic mistakes he made when he first broke away.”

Those sources say that Harry’s counsel is to protect his mental health. “Harry told him: don’t burn everything at once,” the source added. “You only get one chance to tell your story the right way.”
But that’s not all, as Harry has reportedly also connected Brooklyn with his own book publisher, even advising him a potential tell-all that would be all about telling his side of the story, not revenge. “Harry stressed that honesty works best when it’s controlled, thoughtful, and human,” a source explained.
Reportedly, Prince Harry has also had some words of advice about what comes next. “He told him the freedom is real — but so is the fallout,” the insider revealed. “You lose people. You get misunderstood. And once it’s out there, you can’t take it back.”
Will Brooklyn Beckham decide to tell his side of the story? If so, it seems Prince Harry will be there to offer support. “This is mentorship born from scars,” the source said. “Harry’s trying to help him survive the part no one prepares you for.”
The Beckham’s oldest son spoke about his parents on Instagram Stories on Monday, writing, “I do not want to reconcile with my family,” and adding, “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”
He also said, “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family [with] performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships. … Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade.”
Brooklyn Beckham also addressed his relationship with his wife, and how his parents have tried to get in the way of his marriage, saying they “have been trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship” with wife Nicola Peltz and that his parents “value public promotion and endorsements above all else” and “brand Beckham comes first.” Not just that, he said that “Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”
