The Beckham family drama continues to be news. And it’s easy to understand why, a feud going this public doesn’t usually happen, especially not with as many details as we’ve already gotten. And one detail everyone is fixating on is Brooklyn Beckham’s claim that his mom, Victoria Beckham, danced inappropriately with him during his wedding to Nicola Peltz.
Now, other members of the Beckham family are reacting to the drama. Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz, who is 20, liked an Instagram Reel poking fun at the situation. The reel, shared by content creator and comedian Olly Hume, features him pretending to be the DJ at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding ceremony.

“And now for the song requested by the mother of the groom for her first dance with her son,” Hume says in the video, and then the song “Pony” by Ginuwine, which is somewhat synonymous with strip clubs thanks to Magic Mike plays.
“Interesting moves Victoria #beckham #beckhamwedding #news #joke #funny #comedy” were the tags for the post that Cruz liked.
Of course, Instagram users took notice of Cruz liking the post. “Cruz Beckham likes this tho lmfaooooo,” wrote one user, while another posted, “The fact Cruz has liked this 😂👏🏼.”
Brooklyn Beckham’s Instagram Stories started the drama, with the Beckham’s oldest son saying, “I do not want to reconcile with my family,” and adding, “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.”
He also claimed his parents “have been trying endlessly to ruin [his] relationship” with wife Nicola Peltz and they “value public promotion and endorsements above all else” because “brand Beckham comes first,” adding that, “Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”
And Brooklyn also spoke specifically about what happened during his wedding. “In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me,” he said. “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everybody. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
Ironically, Cruz Beckham had shared a video of his mom dancing on Instagram Reels weeks before Brooklyn called her moves embarrassing. In the video, both mother and son are seen dancing to Bob Seger’s hit “Old Time Rock and Roll.” In the video, Cruz was dancing alongside his mother.
Instagram users were also having a field day with this video. “Proof she likes to dance inappropriately with her son(s),” wrote one user, while another one said, “Instagram knowing exactly what it’s doing pushing this video out today. Literally never seen him on my feed before 😅.”
